I.MandateUCPB was created in 1963 under the Corporation Law of the Philippines as aprivate corporation and became a Government-Owned and ControlledCorporation (GOCC) only in 1998. UCPB was not created by any Law orRepublic Act to have a Mandate for its creation.UCPB currently serves individuals, private and government institutions, middlemarket companies and small- and medium-sized businesses nationwide and itutilizes its brick and mortar presence and electronic banking facilities to offer afull range of products and services in consumer finance, commercial credit,corporate and investment banking, trust banking, domestic and internationaltrade finance, treasury and money market investment, cash management anddeposit services.II.VisionTo be the bank of choice of the middle and consumer markets by providingpersonal and proactive service and innovative products.III.Mission We will continue to provide personal and proactive service that effectivelyresponds to the diverse and dynamic needs of our clients.
