CIMB Bank Balance TransferTerms and Conditions as of 21 October 2022Balance Transfer Programme1.Outstanding Balance with the other financial institution in anyway the Bank deems fit.6.a) CIMB Bank Balance Transfer Programme (the “Programme”)is offered only to the principal Cardholders of CIMB BankBerhad [197201001799 (13491-P)] (the “Bank”) subject tothese terms and conditions and read together with theprevailing Cardholder Terms and Conditions.b) Words used in these terms and conditions, if not specificallydefined, shall have the same meaning as defined in theCardholder Terms and Conditions. Supplementary cards,Business Cards and CIMB Bank Islamic Cards, are not eligiblefor this Programme.2. The Programme allows the Bank’s principal cardholders(“Cardholders”) to use a portion of their available credit limitunder their CIMB Bank credit card accounts to pay off theoutstanding balance of their other bank’s credit card accounts(the “Outstanding Balance”) and repay the Bank the sum utilizedwithin the relevant period specified in the balance transfer plansselected by the Cardholders (“Tenure”).3.4.a) Cardholders can select balance transfer plans not exceedingtheir available credit limit, which are specified in the applicationforms or through telephone communication with the Bank.b) The Cardholder’s consent obtained via phone call will bedeemed conclusive proof of the Cardholder’s instructionto accept the Approved Balance upon these terms andconditions.c) The minimum Outstanding Balance to be transferred tothe Cardholders’ credit card account with CIMB Bank perapplication and per bank is Ringgit Malaysia One Thousand(RM1,000.00), and the maximum Outstanding Balance is 80%of Cardholders’ available credit limit.Notification5.b) The Bank shall not be liable for any interest on any overduepayment or any other finance charges or other chargesincurred by the Cardholder due to any failure or delay inpaying the Approved Balance to the other financial institution.Account7.a) A notification (Short Messaging Services (SMS) or any othermeans of notification which the Bank may select) will be sentto let the Cardholder know whether his application has beenapproved or declined.b) If the application has been approved, the Bank will pay theApproved Balance towards settlement of the Cardholder’sa) An additional account number will be assigned to theCardholder for the purpose of operating and administeringthe Approved Balance, and the Cardholder will receive aseparate statement with details of his Approved Balance.b) Even though the additional account number is assigned tothe Cardholder, the Approved Balance refinanced by the Bankis still deemed to be an amount incurred by the Cardholderunder his CIMB Bank credit card account(s) and shall betreated as part of the Cardholder’s credit card(s) outstandingamount.a) Applications for this Programme are subject to the Bank’sprior approval and these terms and conditions. The Bank mayapprove or reject any applications and decide on the amountof the Outstanding Balance allowed to be transferred (the“Approved Balance”) at its absolute discretion.b) Cardholders who are in breach of or who have breached theterms and conditions of their credit card accounts with otherfinancial institutions, or who have otherwise not conductedsuch other credit card accounts properly, shall not beapproved for this Programme.a) The Cardholder must continue to keep up his payments tothe other financial institution for monies owing to the otherfinancial institution in accordance with the terms of paymentof the other financial institution until the Bank has notifiedthe Cardholder that the Approved Balance has been paidto the other financial institution towards settlement of theCardholder’s Outstanding Balance with the other financialinstitution.8.a) The Cardholder must make the monthly minimum paymentof 5% of the outstanding amount or RM50.00, whichever ishigher.b) If the minimum payment is not paid by the due date eachmonth, a late payment charge of 1% on the total outstandingbalance as at statement date (subject to a minimum ofRM10.00 and a maximum of RM100.00) will be charged onthe next day after the due date for each month. Such latepayment charges are considered liquidated damages (not apenalty) and are payable before and after any court order orjudgment.9. After the expiry of the relevant period specified in the balancetransfer plans selected by the Cardholder where a preferentialrate of finance charges is chargeable, the Bank shall imposefinance charges on the Approved Balance of the Cardholder’scredit card at the rates stated in and in accordance with theseterms and conditions and the Cardholder Terms and Conditions.Finance charges of 1.5% per month or 18% per annum calculatedon a daily basis will be charged on any Approved Balance whichhas not been paid in full within the Tenure.No Bonus Points or Cash Rebates10. No bonus points or cash rebates will be granted in connectionwith this Programme.

The Approved Balance forms part of the total available credit limitfor all of the Cardholder’s Bank credit card account(s), includinghis Supplementary credit card account(s). The available credit limitof the Cardholder’s credit card account(s) will be reduced by theequivalent to the Approved Balance.Right to Amend, Malaysia Law and Cardholder Terms andConditions12. The Bank may vary (whether by adding to, deleting from orotherwise amending) (“Amendment”) any of these terms andconditions by giving the Cardholder at least twenty-one (21)calendar days’ notice before the Amendment is effective. Noticeof the Amendment may be given in the same way as notice ofamendments is given under the Cardholder Terms and Conditions.13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpretedin accordance with the laws of Malaysia.14. These terms and conditions are in addition to and withoutprejudice to the terms and conditions stated in the CardholderTerms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict between theseterms and conditions and the Cardholder Terms and Conditions,these terms and conditions shall prevail in relation to thisProgramme.15. The Bank will not be liable if it is unable to carry out any of its dutiesunder these terms and conditions or relating to the Programmedue to any act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action,fire, flood, drought, storm, technical or system failures or anyevent beyond the reasonable control of the Bank.16. Pemindahan Baki CIMB BankTerma-Terma dan Syarat-Syarat setakat 21 Oktober 2022Program Pemindahan Baki1.a) Program Pemindahan Baki CIMB Bank (“Program”) hanyaditawarkan kepada Pemegang Kad utama CIMB Bank Berhad[197201001799 (13491-P)] (“Bank”) tertakluk kepada termadan syarat ini dan dibaca bersama dengan Terma dan SyaratPemegang Kad semasa.a) Pemegang Kad mesti kekal meneruskan pembayarannya kepadainstitusi kewangan lain untuk wang yang terhutang kepadainstitusi kewangan lain menurut terma-terma pembayaraninstitusi kewangan lain sehingga Bank memaklumkan kepadaPemegang Kad bahawa Baki Diluluskan telah dibayar kepadainstitusi kewangan lain untuk penyelesaian Baki TertunggakPemegang Kad dengan institusi kewangan lain.b) Perkataan-perkataan yang digunakan dalam terma dan syaratini, jika tidak ditakrifkan dengan khusus, hendaklah mempunyaierti yang sama seperti yang ditakrifkan dalam Terma danSyarat Pemegang Kad. Kad tambahan, Kad Perniagaan dan KadIslamic CIMB Bank adalah tidak layak untuk Program ini.b) Bank tidak akan bertanggungjawab ke atas sebarang faedahke atas pembayaran tertunggak atau sebarang caj kewanganlain atau caj-caj lain yang ditanggung oleh Pemegang Kaddisebabkan sebarang kegagalan atau kelewatan dalammembayar Baki Diluluskan kepada institusi kewangan lain.2. Program ini membenarkan pemegang kad utama Bank(“Pemegang Kad”) menggunakan sebahagian daripada had kredittersedia mereka di bawah akaun kad kredit CIMB Bank merekauntuk membayar baki tertunggak akaun kad kredit dengan banklain mereka (“Baki Tertunggak”) dan membayar balik kepadaBank jumlah yang digunakan dalam tempoh berkenaan yangditentukan dalam pelan-pelan pemindaan baki pilihan PemegangKad (“Tempoh”).3.a) Permohonan untuk Progam ini adalah tertakluk kepadakelulusan terdahulu Bank dan terma dan syarat ini. Bankboleh meluluskan atau menolak sebarang permohonan danmenentukan jumlah Baki Tertunggak yang dibenarkan untukdipindahkan (“Baki Diluluskan”) pada budi bicara mutlaknya.b) Pemegang Kad yang memungkiri atau telah memungkiri termadan syarat akaun kad kredit mereka dengan institusi-institusikewangan lain, atau sebaliknya tidak mengendalikan akaunakaun kad kredit lain tersebut dengan cara yang betul, tidakakan diluluskan untuk Program ini.4.Kad dengan institusi kewangan lain mengikut sebarang carayang Bank anggap sesuai.a) Pemegang Kad boleh memilih pelan-pelan pemindahan bakiyang tidak melebihi had kredit tersedia mereka yang ditentukandalam borang permohonan atau melalui komunikasi telefondengan Bank.b) Persetujuan Pemegang Kad yang diperolehi melalui panggilantelefon akan dianggap sebagai bukti konklusif mengenai arahanPemegang Kad untuk menerima Baki Diluluskan menurutterma dan syarat ini.c) Baki Tertunggak minimum untuk dipindahkan ke akaun kadkredit Pemegang Kad dengan CIMB Bank setiap permohonandan setiap bank adalah Ringgit Malaysia Satu Ribu (RM1,000.00),dan Baki Tertunggak maksimum adalah 80% daripada had kadkredit tersedia anda.6.Akaun7.a) Satu nombor akaun tambahan akan diberikan kepadaPemegang Kad untuk tujuan mengendali dan mentadbirBaki Diluluskan dan Pemegang Kad akan menerima penyataberasingan dengan butir-butir Baki Diluluskan beliau.b) Walaupun nombor akaun tambahan diberikan kepadaPemegang Kad, Baki Diluluskan yang dibiayai semula olehBank masih akan dianggap sebagai jumlah yang ditanggungoleh Pemegang Kad di bawah akaun kad kredit CIMB Bankbeliau dan akan dianggap sebagai sebahagian daripada jumlahtertunggak kad kredit Pemegang Kad.8.a) Pemegang Kad mesti membuat bayaran minimum bulanan5% daripada jumlah tertunggak atau RM50.00, yang manalebih tinggi.b) Jika bayaran minimum tidak dibayar sebelum tarikh matangsetiap bulan, caj bayaran lewat 1% ke atas keseluruhan bakitertunggak setakat tarikh penyata (tertakluk kepada minimumRM10.00 dan maksimum RM100.00) akan dikenakan pada hariseterusnya selepas tarikh matang setiap bulan. Caj bayaranlewat tersebut dianggap sebagai ganti rugi jumlah tertentu(bukannya penalti) dan harus dibayar sebelum dan selepasapa-apa perintah atau penghakiman mahkamah.9. Selepas tamat tempoh berkenaan yang ditentukan dalam pelanpemindahan baki pilihan Pemegang Kad di mana caj kewanganpada kadar keutamaan dikenakan, Bank akan mengenakan cajkewangan ke atas Baki Diluluskan kad kredit Pemegang Kad padakadar yang dinyatakan dan menurut terma dan syarat ini dan Termadan Syarat Pemegang Kad. Caj kewangan 1.5% sebulan atau 18%setahun dikira atas dasar harian akan dikenakan ke atas manamana Baki Diluluskan yang belum dibayar dengan sepenuhnyadalam Tempoh.PemberitahuanTiada Mata Bonus atau Rebat Tunai5.a) Suatu pemberitahuan (Sistem Pesanan Ringkas (SMS) atausebarang cara pemberitahuan lain yang boleh dipilih oleh Bank)akan dihantar untuk membolehkan Pemegang Kad sedar samaada permohonan beliau telah diluluskan atau ditolak.10. Tiada mata bonus atau rebat tunai akan diberikan berhubungandengan Program ini.b) Jika permohonan telah diluluskan, Bank akan membayar BakiDiluluskan untuk menyelesaikan Baki Tertunggak Pemegang11. Baki Diluluskan menjadi sebahagian daripada jumlah keseluruhanhad kredit tersedia untuk semua akaun kad kredit Bank PemegangHad Kredit

Had kredit tersediaakaun kad kredit Pemegang Kad akan dikurangkan bersamaandengan Baki Diluluskan.Hak untuk Meminda, Undang-undang Malaysia dan TermaTerma dan Syarat-Syarat Pemegang Kad12. Bank boleh mengubah (sama ada menambah, memotong atausebaliknya meminda) (“Pindaan”) mana-mana terma dan syaratini dengan memberikan kepada Pemegang Kad notis sekurangkurangnya dua puluh satu (21) hari kalendar sebelum Pindaanberkuat kuasa. Notis Pindaan boleh diberi dengan cara yangsama seperti notis pindaan diberikan di bawah Terma dan SyaratPemegang Kad.13. Terma dan syarat ini hendaklah ditadbir dan ditafsirkan menurutundang-undang Malaysia.14. Terma dan syarat ini adalah tambahan kepada dan tidak prejudiskepada terma dan syarat yang dinyatakan di Terma dan SyaratPemegang Kad. Sekiranya terdapat percanggahan di antara termadan syarat ini dan Terma dan Syarat Pemegang Kad, terma dansyarat ini akan mengatasi yang lain berhubung dengan Program ini.15.
