THE VIOLET FLAME VOICE Quarterly Newsletter of the Ascended Masters’ Teachings As taught by Mark L. & Elizabeth Clare Prophet No. 9, Summer 2018 From the President’s Desk May 8, 2018 Dear Readers, We are pleased to bring to you the ninth issue of our quarterly newsletter, “The Violet Flame Voice.” Time seems to have passed away so quickly. It is difficult to believe that the Chananda Cultural Society has already completed six years in Delhi where it was founded in 2012. During this time, much has been accomplished, by the grace of God, in breaking the bread of the teachings of the Ascended Masters with our fellow brothers and sisters in India and for which we are extremely grateful. During the last few months, we have conducted several outreach activities in Delhi and other cities covering a lot of ground. The highlights include: Welcoming the New Year at the ashram with our beloved community — a popular annual event! Celebrating Mother’s birthday in April at the ashram with a spiritual and material feast. Preparing for the first time, a camera-ready copy of the Hindi translation of the Violet flame pocketbook, “Violet Flame to Heal Body, Mind & Soul” for the Hindi-speaking audience. Conducting a violet flame workshop in April at a public venue, “Restoring Wholeness to Your Seven Energy Chakras with Violet Flame.” In April and May holding five free follow-up mini-workshops at the ashram covering a variety of the Ascended Master topics. In February conducting a first–ever violet flame workshop in the City of Ghaziabad. Visiting Jaipur in March to strengthen our newly-formed study group in the Pink City. In March we displayed our books in a booth at the International Spiritual Festival in New Delhi sponsored by the Life Positive Foundation. I trust you will enjoy reading more about these activities in the following pages. Every year, as you know, I leave Delhi during the summer months to be with my family in the US. This year is no exception. I plan to leave for USA in late May and return in early September. While in the USA, I will be spending two weeks in Montana where the Headquarters of the Summit Lighthouse is located. There I will attend a spiritual retreat and meet with other students of the Ascended Masters. While I am away, Poonam Chugh and Jay Thukral, who are Keepers of the Flame, will continue to lead weekly decree sessions with other community members at the ashram on Sundays from 11:00 am to noon. They very much look forward to having you join them. I will also remain in touch. THE VIOLET FLAME VOICE Quarterly Newsletter of the Ascended Masters’ Teachings As taught by Mark L. & Elizabeth Clare Prophet No. 9, Summer 2018 Welcoming the New Year at the Ashram Like every year, on our spacious third floor penthouse under a blue sky and a warm sun, we welcomed the 2018 New Year at the ashram on December 30. It seems like it has become an annual tradition to do so as our members anticipate and plan ahead to celebrate the New Year with other community members at the ashram. The temperature was in a comfortable and cozy range in the upper seventies with light wind. The festivities were held from 1:00-3:00 pm. We began with an invocation by Mother followed by the chakra clearance meditation by Mother, and a few selected songs and decrees leading up to the consecration of the letters to the Karmic Board. The service concluded with light Indian refreshments. Many people brought sweets and other delicious edibles as it is customary for people to bring something. It was a very moving celebrations with over 20 people in attendance. We were happy to welcome some new people who came from the neighboring town of Noida located in the State of Uttar Pradesh. The highlight of the service was the offering of the letters to the Karmic Board and the Divine Beings who we write to twice a year requesting assistance for personal and impersonal problems. Before consecrating the letters to the heavenly hosts for their blessings, one of our long-time members shared her testimonial with the group. She said that before coming to the ashram for the New Year service that day, she happened to find a copy of the letter to the Karmic Board she had written the previous year. She mentioned that while she was reading it, she got filled with tears of gratitude because 90% of the requests she had made to the Karmic Board at that time had been granted. We burned the letters while standing around the bonfire and chanting the Gayathri mantra. It was a community-wide bonding as well as a celestial experience to behold as people looked very joyous! Violet Flame Pocketbook in Hindi We are pleased to announce the unveiling of our first Hindi translation book of Violet Flame to Heal Body, Mind and Soul. We are negotiating with several local publishers to print and distribute hard copies through nationwide bookstores and online venues. We are very excited about this breakthrough and hope that this book will serve as an open door for spreading the teachings of the ascended masters in India. Copyright Chananda Cultural Society 2018. We pray that this book in Hindi would also serve as a benchmark for translating it into several other Indian languages in the future. Interestingly, 23 languages are spoken in India, including English. Workshop on the Seven Chakras and the Violet Flame On April 15, we conducted a full-day workshop, “Restoring Wholeness to Your Seven Energy Chakras with the Violet Flame” in the Hindi language from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at a nearby Chirag Residency Hotel in Nehru Place, New Delhi. The information shared was about the chakras, in particular the difference between the simple rainbow spectrum we are familiar with as chakra colors, and the ascendedmaster pastels that carry frequencies and attributes of God’s light. During our past experience in sharing the teachings in India, we have learned that not many people understand the purpose of the seven chakras from the divine perspective as taught by the Ascended Masters. As a result, there are many information gaps and even some erroneous assumptions that are based on human logic rather than divine understanding. Keeping this in mind, we opened our presentation by first explaining the chart of the Divine-Self and the interconnection of the seven bodies—the three upper bodies (the I AM Presence, Causal Body and HigherSelf) and the four lower bodies (the etheric, mental, emotional and physical bodies) with the seven chakras. We gave a brief overview of each chakra including their positive and negative expressions and their relationships with the corresponding organs in our bodies and the resulting diseases. This portion of the presentation helped us set the stage for introducing the violet flame and the teachings on the purification of the four lower bodies and healing of the human organs by the application of violet flame. Several old members and new seekers came and seemed to enjoy themselves. People asked many interesting questions about the colors of the chakras. THE VIOLET FLAME VOICE Quarterly Newsletter of the Ascended Masters’ Teachings As taught by Mark L. & Elizabeth Clare Prophet No. 9, Summer 2018 Follow-up Mini-Workshops As a follow-up to this workshop, we have begun a series of five, two-hour long free mini-workshops beginning April 22 (10:00 am-12:00 pm) in the Hindi language on Sundays at the ashram. For those, who are unable to attend on Sundays, we have an alternate class scheduled on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Topics covered included the violet flame, angels, ascended masters, the Chart of the Presence, and the science of the spoken word. The attendance was very encouraging by God’s grace. Happy Birthday, Guru Ma! As we do every year, we celebrated Guru Ma’s birthday at the ashram on April 8 with great joy and enthusiasm. We sent a colorful invitation to our members and also prepared a booklet for everyone which included Mother’s keynote song, “Beautiful Dreamer” and simple decrees, including Heart, Head and Hand and violet flame decrees. The weather had turned cooler (from 100 degrees F to the low 90s) as it had rained the day before. We began around 5:00 pm and ended at 7:00 pm. We prayed individually to Mother and the masters imploring to achieve the gift of permanent bonding of our souls to our Higher Selves before partaking of the delicious fruit cake and many refreshments brought by the community members. THE VIOLET FLAME VOICE Quarterly Newsletter of the Ascended Masters’ Teachings As taught by Mark L. & Elizabeth Clare Prophet No. 9, Summer 2018 Violet Flame Workshop Comes to the City of Ghaziabad On February 10, we conducted a two-hour workshop on violet flame in Ghaziabad in the home of one of our members who had invited us. This was our first violet flame workshop in that city. The theme of the workshop was “How to Invoke Many Blessings of Violet Agni.” We had prepared a brief workbook which had 20 slides translated into both the English and Hindi languages. The workshop was held from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm. The energies in the room were pleasant and people seemed to be very receptive to the message. It became easier as the workshop progressed for people to understand the message by following it in the workbooks they were provided. We concluded the workshop by engaging in a brief chakra clearance ritual by chanting violet flame mantras for each chakra. In conclusion, it was a very interactive, productive and spirited session. We could feel the presence of the angels. Follow-up with the Jaipur Study Group We visited the city of Jaipur again on March 11 to have a follow-up meeting with the students who had attended our violet flame workshops in December. Jaipur is called the ‘Pink City’ and is the heart chakra of India. We reached Jaipur by 11:00 am and after taking a brief rest, began our meeting at 1:00 pm. It was quite an interactive and spirited meeting which involved questions and answers about the teachings. Some people witnessed to the power of transformation of the violet flame they had experienced. The meeting concluded at 3:30 pm. We all agreed that it would benefit everyone, if we visited Jaipur once every two months and continued meeting with them and sharing the teachings until we reach a point when we are all comfortable meeting on Skype or through another platform.
