Ukraine response: overview

Recommendations 1. Integration should start from day one: people seeking protection in the UK regardless of the arrival route should be provided with integration from day one of arriving in the country. 2. People seeking protection should have equitable access to support and services 3. Ensure a fair allocation of resources and support packages based on the need 4. New arrivals must have a fair opportunity to rebuild their lives and thrive in their communities. 5. Inclusive communities and partnership work are key factors for the successful coordination of the integration support package. 6. Integration strategies and support services should be co-produced with people with lived experience. 7. Compile learning from all different sponsorship models such as Ukraine schemes, super sponsorship, family reunion and wider community sponsorship and apply learning across all nationalities
