Make check payable to POTC (PARKERSBURG OBEDIENCE TRAINING CLUB, INC.). All entry fees must be made payable in US funds. POSTDATED OR RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The exhibitor will need to pay a 15 NSF fee in addition to the amount of each returned check. ENTRY FORM MUST BE SIGNED at the bottom, by the owner or the owner’s duly authorized agent, otherwise the entry cannot be accepted. Telegraph or telephone entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on official AKC entry forms or photocopies of entry forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the official AKC entry form will not be accepted. A 3.50 AKC Recording Fee per each first OB & RLY class entered plus a 3 AKC recording fee for each additional class entered, each day, will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or member club show, obedience trial, rally trial, or tracking test. This fee is collected by the show giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event the dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. NO ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes, or any other cause beyond the control of the management. OVERPAYMENT of less than 10/dog/day will not be refunded except at the exhibitor’s request. BITCHES WHO COME IN SEASON after the closing date may have their entry fees refunded less 6.00 per class entered upon written certification by a veterinarian. Notification must be made to the Trial Secretary no later than 8:00 am the day of the Trial. OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for errors in making out the entry forms, whoever may make such errors and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. NO ENTRY SHALL BE MADE and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. THE TRIAL GIVING CLUB, THE TRIAL SECRETARY, their agents and employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handler, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children not under the control of their parents or guardians. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENTRIES and a judging program will be made as soon as possible after entries close. Should such an acknowledgement not be received within a reasonable time, please notify the Trial Secretary. WHEN THE SAME DOG IS ENTERED in more than one class, only the highest score will be used for the top awards in Trial and top awards of a breed. ALL AWARDS MUST BE CLAIMED at the trial or they become the property of the Parkersburg Obedience Training Club Inc. None will be mailed. ALL DOGS PRESENT MUST BE HELD ON LEASH or confined to their crates except when being judged. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. They will adhere as closely as possible to the judging schedule. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian's recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. CGC & TRICK DOG TESTING POTC would like to offer you the opportunity to have your dog take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test &/or be evaluated for Trick Dog titles on Saturday during our Obedience and Rally trials. Pre-registrations will be given priority since testing time may be limited, and availability of the test session will be dependent upon reaching a sufficient number of pre-registered teams. We request that you please contact Jennifer Goudy ASAP if you are interested, so that she can register you for the test. Testing will be administered by members of POTC. Cost: 10 When: Saturday. Day to Day Transfers Day-to-Day Transfers WILL be accepted, and must be submitted in writing to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. Transfers will be approved provided the requested class and judge are available, and that the class has not already reached its entry limits. All requests should include the dog & owner’s identifying information, event date(s), the class being requested to move to, and the class being moved from. HOW TO USE THE ENTRY FORM Use one entry per dog and check the blocks for each trial in which you wish to enter. Ribbon Raffle Camping is available at the Fairgrounds. Payment is on the Honor System.
