It includes the following General Basic Subjects: Mathematics, English, TCI Studies, Computer Studies and two others from the area ofspecialization. Students enrolled in Pre-College 1 must continue to Pre-College 2Pre-College 2: This is for those who have been exposed to CSEC/external examination syllabusbut have failed or do not meet the minimum entry requirement for the Associate degreeprogrammes. It includes the following specialized subjects: English, Mathematics and three others.NOTE: Classes can ONLY proceed with a COHORT of a minimum of 5 Students.4

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONSApplicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements:For the Associate Degree: Five GCE or CXC subjects including English A andMathematics at the General Proficiency Level with Grads I, II, and III or GCE Grades A,B, C. Students without CXC/GCE Mathematics and English must complete the CollegeFoundation Math: MTH1110 and MTH1120, and ENG1111 and ENG1122 (at additionalcost)For the Certificate Programmes: Three GCE or CXC subjects, one of which must beEnglish at General Proficiency level 1, 11, & 111 or GCE Grades A, B, C.For the Bachelor’s Degree: An Associate Degree from the TCI Community College oranother recognized institution.Students applying through the Mature Student Entry policy should be twenty-one (21)years or older with relevant experience in specific areas of interest. Note that studentsmay be required to complete a Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR)portfolio.The deadline for applications is Friday, June 5th, 2020. SHORT COURSESCourses are for fifteen days for two hours per day (except for AutoCAD, Automotive Maintenance &Surveying). Credits earned could be transferred into the College programmes.Students may audit the courses and not participate in the examination. Students should indicate at thecommencement of the course whether or not the course is being audited. No credit will be given for thosecourses which are audited.B.
