Graduation RequirementsSTAAR for Cohort 20245 STAAR - End of Course Exams (EOC)9th Grade10th Grade11th GradeEnglish IBiologyAlgebra IEnglish IIU.S. HistoryRemember, you need 26 credits AND must pass all 5 EOCs to meet graduationrequirements. If you fail a required core or a required elective, you must repeatthe course until you earn the credit.

Credits Credits are awarded at the end of each semester. Each semester of high school you have the potential to earn 4credits. You can earn a total of 8 credits for the entire schoolyear (unless you are enrolled in a double blocked course suchas band or athletics). In order to earn a credit, you must receive a grade of 70 orhigher. Semester grades are calculated by averaging your 1st 9 weeksgrade, 2nd 9 weeks grade, and your semester exam grade.
