Read down column to find thetrailer weight that can be towed withengine/axle ratio combinations listedat left. GCWR column shows maximumallowable combined weight of vehicle,trailer and cargo (including passengers)for each engine/axle ratio combination.Maximum Loaded Trailer Weight assumesa towing vehicle with any mandatoryoptions, no cargo, tongue load of 10-15%(conventional trailer), or king pin weightof 15-25% (fifth-wheel trailer) and driveronly (150 pounds). Weight of additionaloptions, passengers, cargo, and hitchmust be deducted from this weight.If you don’t know the axle ratio of your F-Series Super Duty, checkits Truck Safety Compliance Certification Label (located on theleft front door lock facing or the door latch post pillar). Below thebar code, you’ll see the word AXLE and a two-digit code.
