Lesson 1This is the letter ‘c’ –The letter ‘c’ says “-kuh- for cat.”Can you say “-kuh- for cat”?When you makethe “-kuh-” sound,don’t make anyvoice sound.The “-k-” soundis a kind of “click”in the back of yourmouth.3

“But wecan’tread!”“We don’tknow whatit says.”“We sawthe opendoor.”“And wesmelled thegarlic bread.”72

Just then anothercat walkedthrough the door.73
