Fuses supplementFusesMain fuse boxGeneral safety notesG WARNINGIf you manipulate or bridge a faulty fuse or ifyou replace it with a fuse with a higheramperage, the electric cables could beoverloaded. This could result in a fire. Thereis a risk of an accident and injury.Always replace faulty fuses with the specifiednew fuses having the correct amperage.Faulty fuses must be replaced with fuses ofthe same rating and which have the amperagespecified in the following overview. Fuses ofthe same rating can be recognized by thecolor and amperage. You can obtain advicefrom a qualified specialist workshop.If a new fuse blows again, have the causedetermined and rectified at a qualifiedspecialist workshop.The fuses and relays for the standardequipment are located in the main fuse boxin the footwell on the left-hand side of thevehicle.Additional fuses and relays for the items ofoptional equipment are located in the fusebox under the left front seat and in its seatbase. Always have the fuses in the seat basereplaced at a qualified specialist workshop.X Switch off the ignition and the electricalconsumers before changing a fuse.Fuse box in the footwell on the left-hand side of thevehicle.To open: unlock quick-release fastener1 and remove the cover.X To close: attach the bottom edge of thecover and fold upwards.The cover must engage.X Lock quick-release fastener 2.XZ3
