How Did Finance Committee Arrive at This 2020 Ministry Plan?1. Monthly we tracked our Last 12 Months (LTM) receipts and expenses.2. In August we requested a detailed budget with justifications from 30 KBCcommittee chairs, team leaders, ministers and administrative staff representingeach area of ministry.3. In September – November we collected these detailed budgets, as committeesresearched cost-cutting measures and determined future needs.4. In November we pulled these numbers together into an overall budget (MinistryPlan) that is grounded in facts, but allows for members and leaders to pushtoward an expanded vision.5. In January, the Finance Committee reviewed actual receipts and expenses for2019 and determined that the overall proposed Ministry Plan is appropriate. Afew accounts were minimally adjusted, reducing the website budget andincreasing telephone and payroll processing expense. The total income andexpense budget remains the same as presented in November 2019.Summary of Stewardship Campaign:As of Dec 31, 2019: 214 pledges totaling 1,260,611As of Dec 31, 2018: 211 pledges totaling 1,204,211In 2019 303,954 came in as receipts/plate income for our general ministry beyondpledged money.The congregation will vote on this Ministry Plan on Wednesday Night, January 22,2020.
