This two-night campoutoffers a number of engaging activities throughout the weekend. The purpose of the Camporee is two‐fold:1. It is designed to give your Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts a jump‐start towards obtaining theirWebelos Badge and their Arrow of Light Award.2. The entire weekend is inherently designed to inspire Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts to continue onthe trail to Scouts BSA and a new Troop. The staff is composed of several “Seasoned Scouters” who are always on hand to answer questionsand to guide the sessions. Some of the stations will be led by experienced Scouts. These youth areworking on requirements for their next rank. Please support this leadership opportunity as these youthleaders work on rank advancement. The sessions have been developed for Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts to work toward someAdventure Pins. The Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts will be challenged and encouraged to work onadvancement during the event, within the den, and at home. They will participate in ceremonies, campcooking, an Interfaith Service, and Saturday night campfire. There are limited registration slots for Camporee, so be sure to register early! The Scout Motto is Be Prepared.Webelos is not only a transition for the Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts from Cub Scouts, butfor the Leaders and Parents too! You will notice many changes from years past. The Camporee Staff hasworked hard to plan an event to help make the crossover from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA as seamless aspossible for you and your Scouts!
