he first BUDGIT@ Air Hoist.wasintroducedin1958inresponse to an industry need foran economical,high-performanceair hoist.Constant improvementS in design have keptBUDGIT@ Air Hoists ahead of changing industry demands. In 1975 new motor and control head designs dramaticallyimproved operation, quietness and control. These new 1/4, 1/2,and I-ton hoists became the Series 2000 BUDGIT@ Air Hoistline. In 1979 the Series 6000 BUDGIT@ Air Hoists were developedby substituting an air motor and pendant throttle control for theelectric motor and controls in the popular BUDGIT@ ElectricHoist. This added I-ton single chain, 2-ton double chain and3-ton triple chain models to the BUDGIT@ Air Hoist family.Series 6000 hoists are based on the same dependable BUDGIT@Electric Hoist frame and feature many interchangeable parts.A need for enhanced pendant throttlecontrolledto the develop-ment of the Series2200 line in 1982. Changesincorporated inthis advanced line include improvedcylinders and a redesignedmotor, control head, brake and pendant throttle handle.

PULLCORDORPENDANTTHROTTLECONTROLRated Loads: 1/4,1/2 and l-TonBUDGIT@ Series 2200 Air Hoists are precision built chain type hoists with achoice of capacities of 1/4, 1/2 and 1-ton. Each size is available in pull cord control and pendant throttle control models. Variations include link type or rollertype load chains, hook suspension for portability or lug suspension for closeheadroom trolley hoist arrangements, and spark resistant link chain models.Features.Pull Cord Control provides a.lightweight, economical hoist for.accurate control of loads.Pendant Thro tle Control hoists.offer ergonomlc ne-handed control, for ease of operation.Inletair swivel with built-in strainerprovides free hoist movement.Aluminumframe and end covercontributes to the lightweight, easily portable, and rugged design.Heavy duty shoe type brake is aproven design for stopping and holding loads in heavy duty applications.Externaladjustment screws fordecreased lift and lower speeds.BASICHOISTExternal brake adjustment.Limit stops prevent over-travelin upper and lowering directions.Equa-torque gearing of alloy steel, heat treated spur gears is accuratelymachined to provide a closemeshed, compact gear reduction.Eight-vanemotor provides hightorque, smooth starting andexcellent control.Tapped exhaust port 1/2 NPTF. .for CLEAN applications or to adda supplemental muffler in additionto the built-in muffler for evenquieter operation.DATARated Loads: 1/4, 1/2 and 1-Ton(Spark resistant models are rated at3/8 and 3/4-ton).Air Pressure Recommended: 90 PSIAir Consumption: 48 SCFM at 90 PSINet Weight (Basic Hoist): 36 Ibs.Suspension: Hook or lugControl: Pull Cord or Pendant ThrottleAir Inlet Size: 3/8 NPTFAir Supply Hose: 1/2 I.D. min.Air Exhaust: 1/2 NPTFLift: 10 foot lifts are standard. PENDANTTHROTTLECONTROLRated Loads: 1,2, and 3-TonsBUDGIT@ Series 6000 Air Hoists are made in single line I-ton, double line2-ton and triple line 3-ton models. All units are equipped as standard with pendant throttle control, MANGUARDclutch overload protection, link chain, andhook or lug suspension. Spark and corrosion resistant models are also available.Series 6000 Air Hoists utilize the popular BUDGIT@ Electric Hoist frame.Practically all mechanical parts used in these air hoists are interchangeable withcomparable BUDGIT@ Electric Hoists. This assuresusers of a proven performance record of mechanical parts and easeof maintenance. FILTER.LUBRICATORUNITSAir hoists must have a supply of clean, lubricated air for their operation. A filter andlubricator must be installed in the air supply line, as close as practical to the hoist. Therecommended operating air pressure for all capacities ofBUDGIT@ air hoists is 90 psig. When air line pressure exceeds 115 psig, it is required that a pressure regulator beprovided in the supply line to maintain proper .24UNITSOZ.18HOOKSAll hoists are furnished as standard with hooks equipped with hook latches. BullardHooks with a rugged cast swing gate locking member that provides greater assurance ofload containment are available at additional cost.REDUNDANTSUPPORTHoist suspension redundant support for Series 2200 hoist is available for additional cost. This redundant support features a cable that inserts through the hoist frame and aroundinitial support.PENDANTTHROTTLECONVERSIONKITKit for converting the pull cord Series 2200 BUDGIT@ Air Hoist to pendant throttleoperation has a standard 6-foot pendant hose assembly.
