Vice-Chancellor speaks .Republic Day Greetings!I take immense pleasure incongratulating all the stakeholders of theUniversity: the administrativemachinery, teaching faculty, nonteaching staff, scholars and students, alumni and the region’s elite for theirhardwork and concerted efforts for theretaining “A” Grade in the recent NAACaccreditation. The accreditation by theNAAC is the testimony to the achievement of the academic excellence throughquality education and research activities besides infrastructural facilities. Thiscould only be possible through the conversion of educational backwardnessof the region into an opportunity for promoting higher education. But thiswill not suffice. We have to scale greater heights and accomplish larger tasksto elevate the University to greater peaks. Our future priorities are to introducemanagement information systems for more effective governance, MoUs withthe foreign universities, more university-industry linkages and sustain multidisciplinary research of international standard in emerging areas. Whilederiving inspiration, we have to pursue the path of excellence and service tothe community with greater commitment and diligence and rededicateourselves to the all-round development of the University.Prof. R. SayannaVice-Chancellor
