Sea Hunts are extrawide from chine to chine, providing more displacementto reduce the “rock and roll” that often occurs on otherboats when people are moving about. A Sea Hunt boatcomes on plane quickly and requires less horsepower toperform at any speed. Viewed from the bow, the sharp entry and classic “Carolina Flare” are apparent, but it doesn’tstop there. The Sea Hunt difference extends through therunning surface all the way back to the transom, producing a total package that is designed and engineered to givethe driest, smoothest, and most comfortable ride possible.Additionally, our team carefully plans the best use of everyinch of space inside the hull as well to give Sea Hunt owners the most cockpit room and storage space possible.Each Sea Hunt Boat starts with the best combinations ofpremium gel coat, resin, and fiberglass that are availabletoday. For maximum strength to weight ratio, Sea Huntuses Nida-Core structural polypropylene honeycomb tocore the load bearing surfaces of our decks, with other critical areas reinforced with NyloboardTM–a high densitythermoplastic reinforced with nylon fibers. Stainless steeldeck hardware is through bolted, and seats, leaning posts,and T-tops are mounted into large aluminum backing plates which are sandwiched into the fiberglassto further enhance your peace of mind. In the hulls,we build our own engineered fiberglass stringer gridsystem and couple it with an all-fiberglass transomcomposed of a double layer of yet another high performance material–Coosa Composites’ “BluewaterSeries” panels, their stiffest and strongest fiberglassreinforced composite panels.Then, before the deck meets the hull, all models–from the 177 Triton to the 29 Gamefish–have theall-fiberglass grid system and surrounding compartments filled with closed-cell urethane foam foradded flotation and sound deadening. The hull anddeck are then chemically and mechanically joinedto create one solid, worry-free vessel. Demand for the elite productcaused expansion of the facilities and product line at a comfortablepace to insure that the original attention to details and high qualitywas never lost. By 2004 the little boat company that started in aone room shop expanded to a compact boat building plant thatwas bursting at the seams. Sea Hunt’s commitment to customerservice and dealer support propelled the company to a definingpoint Relocation and Expansion!
