2020-2021 Boys and Girls Track & Field SeriesTerms and ConditionsIn accordance with Section 1.450 of theIHSA Constitution, the Terms and Conditionsgoverning the 2020-2021 IHSA Boys and GirlsTrack and Field Meet Series have beenapproved by the Board of Directors.C. The Girls State Final Meet will be heldat Eastern Illinois University, Charleston forClass 1A on Thursday, June 10; Class 2A onFriday, June 11; and Class 3A on Saturday,June 12.I.D. The Boys State Final Meet will be heldat Eastern Illinois University, Charleston forClass 1A on Thursday, June 17; Class 2A onFriday, June 18; and Class 3A on Saturday,June 19.Available Sectional sites with all-weatherfacilities and the capability of completingSectional meets not later than Friday will beselected. Therefore, before a Meet Referee andManager suspend a Sectional meet past Friday,permission to do so must be secured from theadministrator in the IHSA Office in charge ofBoys and Girls Track and Field.Assigned Sectional Meet Referees will besupplied a phone number to contact the IHSAAdministrator closer to the event. It will beposted prior to the Sectional in the IHSAOfficials Center in each Meet Referees personalsite.Suspended meets or events will continuefrom the point of interruption. The jumps, shotput or pole vault may be moved indoors, iffacilities are available.SCHOOL CLASSIFICATIONA. Classifications in the IHSA CrossCountry State Series will be determinedaccording to IHSA Policy 17 (ClassificationSystem)Class 1A: 0-471.0Class 2A: 471.01-1299.00Class 3A: 1299.01-aboveB. Students with disabilities willcompete in events within the WheelchairDivision regardless of school classification. Adisability is a physical, visual or mentalimpairment which substantially limits one ormore major life activity.Wheelchair Division: students who use awheelchair for mobility or sports or those thathave been classified as T/F 31-34, T51-54, orF51-57.Students who qualify for the WheelchairDivision will compete separately for place andmedals, but events for this division can be heldsimultaneously.Students with disabilities wishing toparticipate in this Division must have astatement of disability on file with appropriatepersonnel responsible for student health issuesat the student’s school. The IHSA reserves theright to request this documentation as part ofthe entry process.II.DATES AND SITESA.
