Later in theshow, they start to dateand eventually get married.Cory’s other best friend isShawn Hunter (RiderStrong). They have beenfriends since the beginningof the show. Shawn doesn'tknow his mom and fightswith his father a lot. I’ve been playing football for about 7 years.My career started with flag football, which I played until 3rd grade.It took me awhile to get used to playing football. I use to just run around while playing and really haveno desire to hit anyone. Once I got into tackle football in 3rd grade things changed.In 4th grade I moved over to the West Frankfort football team. I didn’t stay in West Frankfort forlong, I moved back to Johnston City. However, in 6th grade I started playing in West Frankfort again. I believe that season was one of my best seasons, so far. I had 12 tackles a game and 3 forced fumbles a game.7th grade was pretty good to me as well. That year I got offered to play at a few different schools, but Ideclined because I couldn’t leave my brothers.My 8th grade season was almost as good as my 6th grade season.Some of you might have seen me play. I played middle linebacker, and it wasonly my second season in that position. Like my 7th grade season, I was offered to play at even more schools. Yet again ,I declined the offers. I couldn’t leave my brothers.I plan on trying to make a career out of it. To those who doubt me, Isay to them “watch me”. High school football starts in a few short months,come watch me and my brothers play.9
Who is the real G.O.A.T.?By Ian BurnettThere will always be a debate over who is the greatest player of all time. There are somany different players to choose from. Two basketball players in particular always get compared. They are Lebron James and Michael Jordan. While Jordan has long since retired, Jamesis still making history.James currently averages 7.2 rebounds per game and 7.0 assists per game. Jordan averaged only 6.2 rebounds per game and 5.3 assists per game. Even though James can rebound andassist, Jordan could steal the ball away from his opponent. Jordan averaged 2.3 steals per gameand currently, James only averages 1.7 per game. Jordan also beats James in the number ofpoints per game with 30.1 to 27.1. The thing they both do well at is blocking. Both Michael andLebron average 0.8 blocks per game.Michael Jordan and Lebron James have both went to severalChampionship Finals. Jordan won six of the finals he played in. Jameshas only won 3 of the finals that hehas played in. Although James hasless victories in the finals, he has putup better rebounds, assist, blocks,and has played in more playoff games than Jordan. James has atotal of 1,758 rebounds per game, 1,348 assist per game, 186blocks per game , and has played in 199 playoff games. Jordan isonly ahead in points and free throw percentages in playoffgames. The numbers show that Lebron has played better thanJordan in the playoffs.In my opinion, I think Michael Jordan is better than Lebron James. That’s just my opinion. I don't care about the stats.
