Section I. General InformationBackgroundMinnesota State Colleges and Universities is the fifth-largest system of higher education in the UnitedStates. It is comprised of 37 two-year and four-year state colleges and universities with 54 campuseslocated in 47 Minnesota communities. The System serves approximately 350,000 students each year.
