We can only think in the narrow,limited view of human weakness where love can be conditional or selfish or withheld. But there isnothing fake or artificial about the love that Jesus offers. It is a love that is unconditional, forgiving,healing and life-giving. He gives it freely and willingly, proving His love for us on the cross. He patiently waits for us tosay yes, to accept His gift and to love Him in return.Jesus portrays Himself as the Good Shepherd, one who lays down his life for his sheep. He will never leave us, or giveup on us, or abandon us. Nothing can change the fact that God calls us His children. We share forever in the grace andglory of God, who creates us in His own image and gives us His life. Through Him, we are healed, forgiven and saved.We are loved just as we are, imperfect though we may be. Could God do more to prove He loves us?A veces es difícil apreciar cuánto nos ama Dios.
