DescriptionChannelsThe Lindab channel suspension and framing system isdesigned to provide an effective yet economicalsolution to today’s framing and support requirements.High quality materials are used throughout and thesystem complies with relevant industry standardsincluding:BS EN 10162: 2003 - All channels in the Tecstrutsystem are manufactured to comply with the tolerancesdetailed in this standard.BS 6946: 1988 - The data provided takes intoaccount the requirements of this standard for testing ofchannel, fittings and channel nuts.BS EN ISO 1461: 1999 - Where appropriate fittingsand bracketry are post hot dip galvanised to thisstandard.BS EN 10327: 2004 - Channels are manufacturedfrom pre-galvanised steel to this specification.Channel Slotting - 1.6mm sections35mm11mm35mm35mm20mmChannel Slotting - 2.5mm sections50mm11mm50mm50mm25mmChannel OptionsIn addition to the channel sections shown opposite amultiple channel sections is available. This comprisestwo channels welded ‘back to back’TSP-442D - 41mm x 41mm x 2.5mm x 2Multiple channel sections are produced by spot weldingtogether two individual pre-galvanised channels at150mm centres. Welds are then protected by theapplication of corrosion inhibiting paint.

Channel Slide NutsNo Drill AnchorsAvailable for M6, M8, M10 and M12 threadings.Manufactured from steel, zinc plated.Threaded RodTecstrut channel slide nuts and springs are self aligningand are specially manufactured to complement therange of Tecstrut channels. The slide nut can be movedalong the channel for ease of alignment whilst thesprings tension the nut against the internal channel lipsto facilitate installation. In addition to the shape of theslide nuts prevents turning inside the channeleliminating the need to grip the nut whilst insertingbolts or threaded rod.Nuts are available threaded M6, M8, M10 and M12,all zinc plated.TSSN-LLong springTSSN-S Short springTSSNNo springSprings are also available separately.Top PlatesThreaded rod is manufactured from mild steel, zincplated. If the load is concentrated atthe centre of a span multiply load from table by 0.5 and deflection by 0.8.3. Stress 182N/mm2. Recommended when deflection is not critical, especiallyon longer spans.4. Deflection 1/180 of span. Recommended when deflection should belimited.5. Deflection 1/360 of span. Recommended when deflection needs to beimperceptible.6. 3.1 Background on Framing Analyses While agenda-setting broadly refers to what topics a text covers, framing refers to which attributes of those topics are highlighted. Several aspects of framing make the concept difficult to analyze. First, just defining framing has been “notoriously slippery”(Boydstunetal.,2013).Framescanoccur
