Ephesians 5:25-3225. Husbands, love your wives, as Messiah loved thechurch and gave Himself up for her,26. so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her bythe washing of water with the Word,27. so that He might present the church to Himself insplendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing,so that she might be holy and without blemish.

28. In the same way husbands should love their wives astheir own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.29. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes andcherishes it, just as Messiah does the church,30. because we are members of His body.31. Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother andhold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.32. This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers toMessiah and the church.

2 Corinthians 11:2I am jealous for you with God’s kind of jealousy;since I promised to present you as a pure virginin marriage to your one husband, the Messiah.

The Bride of MessiahThe Bride of Messiah is a prominent symbol and metaphor usedin Scripture to describe the relationship that Messiah Jesus haswith His beloved bride, the church. Portrayed as the Bridegroomin this relationship, Jesus reveals Himself to be faithful, loving, and committed to a covenant union with His church, comprisedof all who have genuinely been born again into a livingrelationship with Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.

Revela on 19:6-86. Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mightypeals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our Godthe Almighty reigns.7. Let us rejoice and exult and give Him the glory, for themarriage of the Lamb has come, and His Bride (wife) hasmade herself ready;8. it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright andpure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

2 Chronicles 7:1-31. As soon as Solomon finished his prayer, fire came down fromheaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.2. And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD,because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD’s house.3. When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and theglory of the LORD on the temple, they bowed down with theirfaces to the ground on the pavement and worshiped and gavethanks to the LORD, saying, “For He is good, for His steadfastlove endures forever.”

We live in a day when we are more afraid ofholiness than we are of sinfulness.Leonard Ravenhill[In the American Church] everything ismeasured by our happiness rather than byGod’s holiness, the sense of our beingsinners becomes secondary, if not offensive.Michael Horton

Gala ans 1:7 (Amplified Bible)Not that there is or could be any other genuineGospel, but there are obviously some who aretroubling and disturbing and bewildering youwith a different kind of teaching which theyoffer as a gospel and want to pervert anddistort the Gospel of the Messiah intosomething which it absolutely is not .

The modern-day gospel says, 'God loves you and has a wonderfulplan for your life. Therefore, follow these steps, and you can besaved.' Meanwhile, the biblical gospel says, 'You are an enemy ofGod, dead in your sin, and in your present state of rebellion, youare not even able to see that you need life, much less to causeyourself to come to life. Therefore, you are radically dependenton God to do something in your life that you could never do.'David Platt

Tens of thousands, perhaps millions, have come intosome kind of religious experience by accepting Christ, and they have not been saved.A.W. TozerMillions of people in this country whose lives havenever been changed believe themselves born againbecause we have so reduced the gospel of Jesus Christthat it means now nothing more than a simple decisionthat will only take five minutes of your time.Paul Washer

Satan is the arch-counterfeiter. The Devil is now busy at workin the same field in which the Lord sowed the good seed. He isseeking to prevent the growth of the wheat by another plant, the tares, which closely resembles the wheat in appearance. In a word, by a process of imitation he is aiming to neutralizethe Work of Christ. Therefore, as Christ has a Gospel, Satan hasa gospel too; the latter being a clever counterfeit of the former. So closely does the gospel of Satan resemble that which itparodies, multitudes of the unsaved are deceived by it.A.W. Pink

As my wife says, many who attend church areconvinced but not converted, conformed but nottransformed. People who are not “born again” willnot have the Spirit of Truth. We won’t see or observetheir lives being transformed by the Holy Spirit.William Koenig

Luke 18:7-87. Won’t God do justice for His chosen ones, who cry outto Him day and night? Will He be slow to help them?8. I tell you, He will quickly give them justice. But whenthe Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?MaThew 7:13-1413. Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easythat leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.14. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, andthose who find it are few.

MaThew 7:21-2321. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter thekingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of MyFather who is in heaven.22. On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we notprophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Yourname, and do many mighty works in Your name?’23. And then will I declare to them (the many), ‘I never knewyou; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’
