Each year 100 students areselected from each school tomake up the various teams thatwill compete for the Jack ParsonsMemorial Shield. We take turnshosting the event and this year itis Wauchope’s turn to providethe accommodation.Wauchope is ComingThe main reason why thisinterschool event has been ableto be maintained for the last 41years is the support shown toboth schools by the parents –especially those who agree totake a student or two from thevisiting school into their homefor two nights. This practice notonly makes the annual eventpossible, it keeps the cost to allinvolved down to an acceptableminimum. The annual Cumberland vsWauchope visit is nearly upon us– again! We would LOVE to bring theshieldhomethisyear!#GoCumberlandUpcoming games over the nextfew weeks: Boys Hockey Round 2 V ColoHigh – 6/6/17 (Away) Boys 15s Basketball – Playby date 16/6/16 vs TBA Girls 15s Basketball - Play bydate 16/6/16 vs TBAIssue 4 – 02 June, 2017If you were one of the 100students who made the team –congratulations! Please make sure you: attend all training sessions forteams you qualified for, return your permission noteand money to Front Office, getpracticingyourCumberland Cobras War Cry!C–O–B–R–A–S(repeat back)Cumberland Cobras are thebest!(repeat back)We are strong and we will win;(repeat back)The Parson’s Shield, lock it in!(repeat back)We’re number #1 in all we do!(repeat back)The Cobras have their eyes onyou!(repeat back)Gooooo CUMBERLAND!!!
