Overview of the Edit Options PageIntroductionThe Edit Options page allows teachers to control the way a course functions in areas such aspassing thresholds, grade weights, start date, target date, pretesting, etc. for individualstudents. The Edit Options page features described in this section relate directly to changes thatcan be made at the individual student level for a specific course assigned to that specificstudent. Changing the Course Options relates to changing course options for those coursesbeing distributed at the district-wide/school-wide level and can be done only by school or districtadministrators. In order to have access to and make changes to the Edit Options page, usersmust have the Edit Options permission in the Student Courses group of permissions.This document provides information on accessing the Edit Options page and a basicexplanation of the features in the Edit Options page. It is written with the assumption that theuser understands how to access the Web Administrator and how to view a student’s course list.For information on these functions or for more details about specific sections of the Edit Optionspage, please refer to the corresponding documents.Accessing the Edit Options Page1.
