Have the benefits of an organisation governed and managed that promotes a fair,safe, drug free environment for its members. This includes values and practicespromoted and funded by the Australian Sports Commission including; ASADA, CAFand Member Protection Policy;2. Be confident fees and charges levied will be fair, reasonable and in line with industrystandard;3. Have access to the Judo Queensland and JFA Web Pages that inform members ofcompetitions via an annual calendar, current policy and programs;4. Be able to promote local events and activities to all Judo Queensland membersthroughout Queensland;5. Be able to purchase National judo publications, Grading certificates andmerchandise:6. Be provided with promotional material to assist with increasing and retaining clubmembership;7. Be able to participate in Technical courses and Training Camps promoting bestpractice coaching and training strategies delivered by a range of internationallyrecognised judo experts;8. Enjoy the benefits of an organisation that provides a policy and program structureensuring standards expected in Australian society.9. Know that the contribution they make to the sport of Judo is valued and recognizedas a significant asset in the continued growth of Judo in Queensland

Know that Grades are of high standard and internationally recognized3. Know that Club Coaches are accredited and participate in regular upskilling programsand have Blue cards, first aid certificates4. Know there is a program of local competitions accessible by all registered playersincluding juniors young men and women, men and women, masters and special needs5. Have a competitive pathway from local competitions to state national and internationalrepresentation6. Be confident fees and charges levied will be fair, reasonable and in line with industrystandard;7. Know that Judo Queensland has fair selection policies, Grading policy and procedures,Refereeing and Coaching standards, and a Complaints Tribunal to deal fairly withconflict resolution issues;8. Know that they have a high level of personal protection when participating in JudoQueensland or Judo Australia sanctioned events including injury and legal issues.9. Be able to earn grading points from competing in Judo Queensland sanctioned events;10. Be able to participate in Judo Queensland sanctioned events and competitionsincluding those held in other states of Australia11. Be able to participate in technical courses and training camps promoting best practicecoaching and training strategies delivered by a range of internationally recognised judoexperts;12. Be able to participate in funded High Performance Programs for elite athletespromoting optimal athlete performance at international level;13. Be able to participate in National Talent Identification and Junior DevelopmentPrograms;14. Judo Federation of Australia (QLD) Inc – Judo QueenslandJudo Queensland Club affiliationAffiliation with Judo Queensland is accepted conditional upon the Club agreeing to thefollowing requirements.1) The appropriate Club affiliation fee is paid by the due date and thata) Coaches and Committee members are Financial JQ Members, Committeemembers should be a minimum Volunteer member.b) Coaches maintain currency of their Coach Accreditation, First Aid and Workingwith Children Blue Card.c) The Head Coach has a minimum of Club Judo accreditationd) Any Assistant coach has a minimum of Assistant Coach accreditation2) The Club maintains its Insurance compliance througha) Coaches being compliant, as outlined aboveb) Notifying Judo Queensland of events outside of the Dojo to be sanctioned egdisplays, promotionsc) Following Judo Queensland tournament policies and proceduresd) A current Risk Management policy and maintaining an injury and incidentregister3) The Club has a basic structure and written method of operating eg. Constitution, anychanges to the Committee membership are notified when the change occurs.4) Adhere to the rules and policies of the Judo Queensland and specifically the policiespertaining toa) Association Membershipb) Belt Gradingsc) Member Protectiond) Risk Managemente) Tournament event sanctioning and conductf) Codes of Conduct as aligned with those of the Australian Sports CommissionThe Judo Club agrees with the JQ Inc affiliationrequirements as stated above.SignatureDate / /
