The 2021 Higher Education Student Association (HESA) Board began theirwork by welcoming prospective William & Mary School of Education students.Over the course of one week, prospective students attended a “Welcome toWilliam & Mary and Williamsburg” presentation, panel comprised of graduateassistant supervisors, casual question and answer opportunity, and a post-GAinterview debrief with current SOE students. We are hopeful that new studentswill feel welcome in the SOE community! The HESA board is also planningprograms that cover a variety of student interests. Michael MullinMichael Mullin M.Ed ’12, is currently a Senior Consultant – TalentManagement with Nintendo of America, Inc. in Redmond, Washington. Inthis role, Michael supports employee development by creating andexecuting leadership, DEI, performance, and other talent managementsolutions across the organization. While at William & Mary, Michael was aHall Director with the Office of Residence Life and held graduateassistantships with New Student Orientation, Student Accessibility Services,and the School of Education. Through EPPL, these assistantships, andprofessional experience in Residence Life, he identified a passion fordesigning and delivering training and development programs for adultlearners, a central responsibility in his role at Nintendo.
