CCP General GuidelinesuuEach public school student is awarded 30 credits per academic yearuA CCP academic year is summer, fall, and spring semesters/termsuAny classes taken at the high school or at another college counttoward those 30 creditsuThree Options for CCP enrollment: Option A/self-pay, Option B/statepay (Option B is the default option for CCP students), tive%20May%2010%202021.pdfFor CCP Campus students, high schools pay the cost of the course; ZSCpays the cost of textbooks/materialsuStudents get textbooks/materials from the ZSC Campus Bookstore andreturn them to the Bookstore when done at the end of each semester

ODHE Impact of Student GradesDrop - Students have the first two weeks from the start of term todrop a class for no academic or financial penalty.Withdraw – Students have between week three and the end of thetenth week to withdraw from a class (“W” on transcript). Failureto complete withdrawal paperwork will result in student receivingan “F” in the course). Also remember that for those who choseOption B, the school district/state can ask for reimbursement fora withdrawn class.

CCP DismissaluA student is placed on CCP Dismissal when the student has met thedefinition of CCP Underperforming Student for two consecutive collegetermsuOnce a student is dismissed from CCP, the student may not enroll incollege courses for the following college termuAfter one college term on dismissal, the student may request secondaryschool to allow student to participate. Secondary school shall determinewhether the student may continue on dismissal, move to probation, orparticipate without restrictions per the school’s adopted policy. Parents: How can you support your studentin making this transition to college? Ask your student questions. Don’t assume that no news is good news.Understand that learning & communication is the student’s responsibility!!! Yourstudent needs to be the one setting up appointments and advocating forhim/herself. Expect your student to struggle.
