APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONSAPPLICATION PROCESSTouro College uses a self-managed procedure forapplications to the Division of Graduate Studies.Applicants are advised to gather all their requireddocuments and submit them together in one package(except GMAT and TOEFL scores which are sentdirectly from the testing organizations to Touro College).This has the advantage of considerably speeding upTouro’s processing of applications. This applicationbooklet provides the forms with which applicantsrequest official transcripts of previous academic workand letters of recommendation to be returned to themin signed, sealed envelopes. Send these togetherwith the checklist, application form, fee, and anysupplemental documents (e.g., an essay), in a singleenvelope to the address listed on p.3.u Credential Evaluation of Foreign Transcripts. An originalcourse-by-course educational credential evaluationis usually necessary for academic work completedoutside the U.S. Touro College accepts evaluationsonly from members of the National Associationof Credential Evaluation Services. For furtherinformation please visit the Association’s website at:www.naces.org/members.htm.u Recommendation Letters. Applicants are requiredto submit recommendation letters from previousinstructors or workplace supervisors. Refer tothe Additional Requirements section on p.6 todetermine how many recommendations a particularprogram requires. Use the pre-printed form in thispackage. Ask the respondent to place the letter ofrecommendation in a sealed envelope, to sign acrossthe sealed flap of the envelope, and return the letterto you.
