All sales agreementsare associated to these objects. For account forecasting, set up accounts, contacts, products, pricebooks, opportunities, and orders. Forecasts for accounts are generated based on associated orders,sales agreements, and opportunities for new and existing products.You can set up objects in any order. Use Data Loader to bulk import information into your org.EDITIONSAvailable in: Enterprise,Unlimited, and DeveloperEditions.1. From the App Launcher, enter Accounts, and select it.2. Click New on the Accounts home page. Enter the information of your customer’s businessaccount or a person account if it’s enabled for your org. Save the changes.3. On the account’s record, go to the Related tab. Click New on the Contacts related list. Enter thecontact information for the account, and save it.At least one primary contact is required for every account.USER PERMISSIONSTo modify products: Create and Editpermissions on Productsand Price Books4. To provide delete permissions for active, approved, canceled, or expired sales agreements, go to the General User Permissions section,and select Delete Sales Agreements.Note: A profile with the Delete Sales Agreement permission can be assigned to account managers and to partner users.7. To provide edit permissions for actual quantities of sales agreement products, go to the General User Permissions section, and selectEdit Actual Quantities of Sales Agreement Products.Note: If the quantities for sales agreements are derived automatically from orders and contracts, go to the General User Permissionssection, and select Activate Orders and Activate Contracts. If you want users to collaborate on account forecast adjustments and change growth metrics, provide read and edit permissionsfor the objects.Provide create, read, update, delete, and view all permissions in the required combinations for all other objects. The permissions controlaccess at the object level. The sharing model controls access to individual records within that object type. Set access levels based on thefunctional requirements for the profile.
