In this economic climate “accommodation” is the new investment return. The “right” tiny homes – being a council consented tiny home is the new affordable solution to home ownership. FAQ What options are there? -Studio 145,000 -One bedroom 156,990, 4 options available. -Two bedroom 159,990, 2 options available. Pricing includes a five year warranty (plus 24 months warranty on all appliances). What is Code of Compliance? From 1st October 2019 all NZ Tiny Home builds have code compliance certification. It is up to each client to do their own due-diligence with regards to applying for resource consent in their local territory. Site preparation It is the responsibility of each client to prep their site ready for the tiny home to be placed. This may include speaking to your local council about what is required – piles, anchored tiepoints etc. Other things that may be required are craning the home into position, this will require lifting points to be built into the base of the home. How are they delivered? The homes are transported on a low deck truck to site and manoeuvred into place by a Ute. They are not able to be towed on the road. Where do you deliver to? Currently our homes are delivered all over the North Island. NZ Tiny Homes Mainland our licensed partner is building and delivering across the South Island. How long do they take to build? This depends on our build schedule (number of homes on order) but once building commences the turnaround time is very fast – usually within eight weeks.

This is additional to the purchase price of the home. The tank is placed beside the home at the rear close to the connected spout. Off grid living or residential services? Our tiny homes can easily connect to residential services (plumbing, power, sewage) or be built for off-grid living. We have several options available depending on your needs. Waste/sewage: On-grid – Connect directly to mains sewage or septic tank system, flush toilet installed. Off-grid – Grey water to your sites irrigation system or drainage system, composting toilet installed natureshead.net. Power options: On-grid – Connect to existing power source. You will require a 32amp lead to power your home. You will need an electrician to install the correct connection at your home to power it. Our preference is to hardwire the house. Off-grid – A solar switch can be installed for an additional 1,500. A list of preferred solar kit suppliers available upon request.

What you need to do? Find out where on your property you are able to place a tiny home and what you need to prepare as a foundation Steps 1. Do your due diligence for your site 2. Budget the connection of the tiny home to services, we can advise you on this. See the FAQ for additional information 3. Choose what plan you want for your tiny home Sale and purchase agreement for YOUR tiny home We will send you a sale and purchase agreement for the tiny house This will include a list of chattels and the plans for you to look at The delivery date and payment schedule will be included The deposit is 50% upon signing of the agreement with the balance due 7 working days prior to the delivery date of the tiny home The build time is 8 weeks plus any lead in Choosing your fixtures and fitting for your tiny house You can choose to come to the workshop to select your fixtures and fittings for your tiny home If you are wanting to add upgrades after the contract is signed then this will be quoted and invoiced upon completion
