JANUARY 5, 2021 SUPER BARN SALE ARENA 6 P.M. CST OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA Held in conjunction with the

Gelbvieh and Balancer Enthusiasts, Welcome to Cattlemen’s Congress! Each year Gelbvieh and Balancer cattle are on display during the National Gelbvieh and Balancer show and sale. Although the location may have changed this year, the quality of cattle certainly has not. Gelbvieh and Balancer breeders travel from all over the country to exhibit their quality genetics, which will be in the spotlight at the Cattlemen’s Congress January 4 through 6, 2021. During this week, several events are held to showcase the breed which include Gelbvieh and Balancer futurities, the National Gelbvieh and Balancer Show, and of course the National Gelbvieh and Balancer Sale. Within the sale, breeders will find genetics they can put to work in their respective herds to positively influence their operations well into the future. offering 17 lots Gelbvieh and Balancer 7 BULL LOTS 5 OPEN HEIFER LOTS 1 BRED HEIFER LOT 1 EMBRYO LOT 1 FLUSH LOT 2 SEMEN LOTS In addition, the junior members, who are the future leaders of our breed, play a role at these events with their junior heifer show as well as their annual heifer raffle ticket fundraiser. The winner of the Annual Breeder’s Choice Gelbvieh Bull Futurity is a sale attraction every year selling in the National Gelbvieh and Balancer Sale. The winning bull is only available for breeding by the futurity members and purchasers of the bull in the National Sale for the next 2 years. Past winners of the Breeder’s Choice bull futurity have gone on to win 3 National Champions and 2 Reserve National Champions the following day and have developed into very unique breeding pieces for the future of the Gelbvieh Breed. Buyer owns possession and 50% semen interest in the Breeder’s Choice Bull Futurity Champion when the bull is sold. Insurance is furnished on the bull by the Futurity until all semen collection is complete. Buyer takes possession of the bull when semen collection for bull futurity members is complete. Judd Ranch has been honored as the #1 Dam of Merit cowherd in the Gelbvieh breed for 21 of the past 23 years (1998-2020) and they have won a record 52 National Champion Pen Bull honors over the last 23 years. Within this tremendous offering will be full brothers to the following Judd Ranch calving-ease/powerhouse herd sires: JRI Secret Powers 254C821, JRI Prescribed Remedy 253E38 and JRI Alan 68G3, the 2020 Runner Up Balancer Futurity Bull. Judd Ranch will be selling full possession and half semen interest on your pick of 21 of the 23 bulls. The other two Pen Bulls Judd Ranch will be keeping for herd sires, you will be buying a one-half semen interest with no possession.
