Industrial Painter Industry Standards Criteria0 NET: 51-9121.001) Length of TrainingProgram sponsors shall establish a minimum of a 4 year program of not less than 7200hours of on-the-job training.2) Related Supplemental InstructionThe required prescribed courses of related and supplemental instruction (RSI) shall beno less than 539 total program hours. This instruction must include at a minimum therelated and supplemental training processes listed in Attachment "A".3) On-the-Job TrainingSkills to be learned are listed in Attachment "B".4) Competency TestingAll apprentices must pass competency testing prior to advancement in program Level.All Apprentices must complete all levels of training prior to receiving any state orindustry recognized certifications.5) Completion PercentagesProgram sponsors must have a 40 % graduation rate of all apprentices that satisfactorilycomplete the first year of the program.6) RevisionsThe schedule of revisions to the Industrial Painter Industry training criteria shall be inaccordance with Section 212.01 of the California Code of Regulations.
