Dr. Robert VarghesePrincipalHISTORY/GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE SCHOOLSt. Francis Inter College was established in July 1972 by Most. Rev. Dominic Athaide O.F.M. Cap., thenArchbishhop of Agra, in a rented building. It had a humble beginning with 20 students and 3 classrooms.Rev. Fr. Jose Maliekal was the founder Principal.In 1973 Mission Sisters of Ajmer joined Hathras Mission at the invitation of the Archbishop. Theycontinue to render their valuable service for the growth and development of the Institution and Hathras atlarge.In 1983 Rev. Fr. Thomas K.K. then principal shifted the school from Munni Lal Ki Bagichi, Agra Road,Hathras to the present campus. The first batch of Class X passed out of the institution in 1986. The firstbatch of XII appeared for the Board Examination in March 1994.With the blessing and laying down the foundation stone for the Yesu Christi Jayanti 2000 Jubilee Wing(present senior wing) by Rev. Fr. Jose Maliekal on 6th February 2005 the institution has an extendedcampus.Rev. Fr. Sebastian Panthaladi, Rev. Fr. John Lewis, Rev. Fr. Vijayan. Rev. Fr. John Ferreira, Rev. Fr. JoseAkkara, Rev. DELHI affiliation no. 2130061School Code: 08637ADMISSION POLICYProspectus and registrations forms for admissions to L.K.G. will be available at the school office. A childwho has completed 3.6 years to 4.6 years as on 1st April can apply for admission in the current academicyear. There will not be any entrance examination. However at the time of admission both the parentsshould be present.The candidates appearing for identification should be accompanied by both the parents and not by any

other relatives.The date and time of identification are intimated (See the acknowledgment card) at the time ofsubmitting the duly filled in Registration FormThe Acknowledgment card is to be shown at the time of identification. Kindly bring the BirthCertificate in OriginalThe school authorities reserve all rights of admitting any child to the school. They are not bound to givereasons for admission or rejection of any particular child.For Admission to higher classes, is based on vacancies available in each class and the admission is givenon the basis of student aptitude test given priority to transfer cases. However, in respect of admission thedecision of Principal is final and binding.Please Note1. An attested photocopy of the Original birth certificate, issued at the time of birth by the Municipality,must be attached with the Registration Form.2. Incomplete form will be rejected. Recommendations of any kind will be a disqualification of admission.MEETING/IDENTIFICATIONThe meeting /identification date and time are intimated at the time of submitting the duly filledforms. Change in date and time of meeting / identification will not be entertained.The meeting is held for the identification of the candidates and parents more for security reasonsthan any other. During the meeting no academic tests are held, no questions are asked to measure theintelligence and knowledge of the child. Every child has right to go to school and we make no discriminationon the basis of caste, creed, sex, economic status or social status. However, we admit only as many as wecan. This is a co-educational institution keeping 50% (fifty percent) seats for both boys and girls i.e. equalityin seats in each class.The candidates appearing for the meeting/identification should be accompanied by both theparents and not by any other relatives.For the same please come along with the original Date of Birth Certificate and Acknowledgement Card.DRAW OF LOTSAfter the meeting / identification of the candidates with their parents, the duly completed forms of theeligible candidates (over aged or under aged repeaters etc. are treated as non-eligible) are put to draw bylots. This is done before the school community, by the students, during the morning school assembly.
