Mishandlingof the product and misunderstanding of the displayed content may lead to a fatal or serious accident.b WARNINGThe diver’s watch is an auxiliary instrument which mainly displays the passage of time and does not ensurethe safety of a user. Use this watch while using the equipment (residual pressure gauge, water depth meter, etc.) required for safe diving.b WARNINGNever use this watch for “saturation diving” using helium gas.b WARNINGDo not dive using this product unless you have been properly trained in scuba diving, acquired the requisiteexperience and techniques for safe diving, thoroughly familiarized yourself with the operation and handlingof this product, and inspect all functions of this product prior to each dive.EN21b CAUTIONMake sure to read the following instructions before use and strictly observe them.b CAUTIONInspect the following items before diving (excluding saturation diving): The watch is normally operating. The remaining battery level is sufficient and the mainspring is sufficiently wound. The rotating bezel turns smoothly. (The bezel rotation must not be too loose or too tight.) Screws of the crown and other parts are reliably tightened. No abnormalities such as flaws or cracks exist on the band or glass. The band is reliably fixed (with spring bar, buckle or other parts.)* If any abnormality is observed in the above items, do not use this watch for diving.b CAUTIONDo not operate the crown or buttons underwater.b CAUTIONAs the use environment of the diver’s watch may affect not only the case or band but also the internalmechanism of the watch, we recommend that you periodically request an overhaul for inspection andadjustment approximately once every three to four years.EN3

Guide to charging timesCharging the batteryCharge the watch using the times below as a guide. How to charge the batteryThe figures of “Time required for charging the watch to start moving at one-second intervals” are estimationsof time required to charge the stopped watch by exposing it to light until it moves at steady one-secondintervals. Even if the watch is partially charged for a shorter period, the watch will resume one-secondinterval movement. However, it may shortly return to two-second-interval movement. Use the charging timein this column as a rough guide for sufficient charging time.Expose the dial to light to charge the watch.33SOLAR CHARGING FUNCTIONSOLAR CHARGING FUNCTION* The required charging time slightly varies depending on the model of the watch. V131To ensure optimal performance of the watch, makesure that the watch is kept sufficiently charged at alltimes.EN* Be careful to make sure that the watch does not get hot when it is charging. (The operating temperature range is-10 C to 60 C.)* When you first start using the watch or starting it after it stopped due to a lack of charge, charge the watch sufficientlyusing the table on P. 25 as a guide.Light source700 Fluorescent light3,000 Fluorescent light10,000Sunlight100,000SunlightCondition (Example)General offices30W 20cmCloudy daySunny day (Under thedirect sunlight on asummer day)Time required toTime requiredget the smallfor charging theseconds handwatch to last formoving at one1 daysecond intervals16 hours1.8 hours90 hours4 hours30 minutes30 hours1.2 hours8 minutesTime requiredfor fullycharging thewatch10 hours24 V145Illuminancelx (LUX)3Light source100,000SunlightCondition (Example)General offices30W 20cmCloudy daySunny day (Under thedirect sunlight on asummer day) V147 / V157 / V158Illuminancelx (LUX)Light source700 Fluorescent light3,000 Fluorescent light10,000Sunlight100,00026SunlightCondition (Example)General offices30W 20cmCloudy daySunny day (Under thedirect sunlight on asummer day)Time required toTime requiredget the smallfor charging theseconds handwatch to last formoving at one1 daysecond intervals175 hours11 hours50 minutes40 hours2 hours10 minutes10 hours30 minutes3 minutesTime r
