Thank you for purchasing a Canon product.The EOS 450D is a high-performance, digital single-lens reflex camerawith a 12.20-megapixel image sensor. The camera provides manyfeatures such as Picture Styles to expand your photographicexpression, fast and high-precision 9-point autofocus for movingsubjects, and diverse shooting modes for beginners as well asadvanced users.It also incorporates the EOS Integrated Cleaning System to eliminatedust spots on images and the Self Cleaning Sensor Unit to shake offdust on the sensor.Take a Few Test Shots to Familiarize Yourself with theCameraWith a digital camera, you can immediately view the image you havecaptured. While reading this manual, take a few test shots and see howthey come out. You can then better understand the camera.To avoid botched pictures and accidents, read the Safety Warnings(p.186,187) and Handling Precautions (p.12,13).Test the Camera Before Using and LiabilityAfter shooting, playback and check whether the image has beenproperly recorded.
