CTE INCENTIVE GRANTSCLASS OF 2021 CERTIFICATIONS LISTThe following is the list of CTE Technical Incentive Grant industry-recognized certificationsavailable to high school students in the workforce shortage career clusters. Developed incooperation between the Department of Workforce Development (DWD), Department of PublicInstruction (DPI), and Wisconsin Technical College System Office (WTCS), these certificationstake into account certifying agency recognition and validity, student accessibility, andprogrammatic rigor.The certifications fall into five categories:1. State Certified Work-Based Learning Programs- DPI Cooperative Education SkillStandards (Skills Co-Op),2. State Certified Work-Based Learning Programs- DWD Youth Apprenticeship (YA),3. Business & Industry Recognized Certifications,4. Wisconsin Technical College Certifications,5. Wisconsin Certified Pre-Apprenticeship Programs.This list is revised annually to ensure relevance to current industry needs. A copy of the list ineffect for the Class of 2020 is available on DPI's website, at https://dpi.wi.gov/cte/technicalincentive.
