How to Book a Room For CAO StudentsStep 1:For CAO students, CAO offers are sent out on Monday morning, August 17th. When you acceptyour CAO offer it takes up to 48 hours for the CAO to inform UCD of your acceptance. For thisreason you must accept your offer before 5pm on the Monday the CAO offers are released tohave the best chance to secure your preferred residence. If you accept your CAO offer on, forexample, Wednesday then it will take 48 hours from that point to notify UCD that you haveaccepted your offer. As we offer accommodation on the Wednesday this may impact yourapplication for accommodation.Step 2:From August 19th we will begin to offer accommodation based on CAO acceptances, we makeour offers of accommodation by email according to your position on the waiting list. You have24 hours to accept your offer of accommodation, after 24 hours your offer will expire.Accommodation offers will begin based on you having accepted your CAO offer and your placeon the waitlist. It may take 2-3 days to receive your offer so please check your email regularlyfrom this date. An email will be sent to your new UCD Connect email address (refer towelcome guide to set up this email) and also we will email your personal email address.If you receive an offer of accommodation, please refer to Step 3 (below).STEP 3: Log into your SISweb Portal using yourUCD ID (Student number and your passwordwhich is the same as your online applicationpassword). If you did not make an online applicationyour password is by default your Date of Birth inthe form DDMMYY i.e if you were born onSeptember 3rd, 1998, it will be 030998.
