Conducting set tasks Each examination must be taken on the day and at the time as shown on the timetable. The published starting time of all examinations for UK centres is either 9.00 a.m. or1.30 p.m. Candidates with more than one examination in a session should take theseconsecutively. Where given, learners must complete work by the end of the window for supervisedconditions. The submission deadline is the deadline for work to arrive at Pearson orthe examiner (as appropriate to each task). The gap between the end of supervisedconditions and the submission date is to allow for work to be collated, packaged anddespatched. Where a task is shown with an AM or PM slot for the supervised period, the publishedstarting time is either 9.00 a.m or 1.30 p.m. UK centres may start this period earlierthan, or later than, the published starting time for the session without prior approvalfrom Pearson.
