This requires that theinstaller position and fasten the motor before continuing with the install.Please follow the instructions below and handle the assembly carefully.CAUTION: Dropping the assembly or any excessive impact MAY causedamage to the motor.Instructions:1. Position the gear cover in place as shown if not already in place.2. Seat motor into position on the three mounting bosses. This may requirean adjustment of the gear by moving the swing arms.3. After seating into place, fasten the motor with the three motor mountscrews with 4mm Hex Head. Tighten screws to 36 in-lbs (4N-m). Do notover torque.www.amp-research.com2/12IM75101 rev 12.18.19

Insert lamp wiresthrough the grommets.18193233Affix lamp to rocker panel surface. Make sure lampis affixed to a flat, clean surface.Using supplied butt connectors, connect the lampwires. Red to Red, Black to Black. Reinstall any remaining trim panels.4FINAL SYSTEM CHECKCheck that all doors activate the PowerStep and the LED lights work when doors open and close.NORMAL OPERATION: When the doors open, PowerStep automatically deploys from under the vehicle.When the doors are closed, PowerStep will automatically return to the stowed/retracted position. Note thatthere is a 2-second delay before the PowerStep returns to the stowed/retracted position.CORRECT OPERATION OF LIGHTS: All four lamps will illuminate upon opening any door of vehicle. Lampswill stay on until restowing of both Power Steps or until 5 minutes has expired with the doors open. Congratulations on the purchase of yourAMP Research Power StepHere’s what you should know.OPERATIONThe AMP Research Power Step automatically deploys when at least one door opens and automatically retracts underyour vehicle when both front and rear doors close. If resistance or blockage is encountered while the Power Step isin motion, the drive system is designed to automatically stop. To reset, simply open or close the vehicle door and thePower Step will resume normal operation.MAINTENANCE TIPSThe stepping surface and drive mechanism can be washer with mild soap and water using a soft brush or sponge todislodge any mud, dirt or accumulated road grime. Rinse with fresh water.To prevent slipping, avoid applying waxes, lubricants or protectants like Armor All to the step surface.When washing your vehicle, the Power Steps can be set to remain deployed with the doors closed for easy cleanning.Do this.1 With the Power Step deployed, press and hold the board down with your foot.2 Close the door while continuing to press down the board. (This will not harm motor.)3 To reset the Power Step, simply open and close the door. (Repeat for both sides of vehicle.)CAUTION!
