The patented Dump-Lok steelbraces lock your truck’s dump bed in the raised position, preventing it from falling in cases ofsystem failure or operator error. Dump-Lok has been independently tested by the Structures and Materials Testing Laboratory at the University ofWisconsin - Madison to support a massive 95,000 lbs (pairs). The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has issued citations to employers for failing to providelockout procedures while employees were working under the dump body of dump trucks. OSHA recognizes thehazard of unsecured dump beds, and has recommended using an alternative "truck bed brace bracket ". (OSHASHIB 09-18-2006) Dump-Lok is so unique & original that it’s covered under United States Patent # 6905174. Dump-Lok can be used universally on any brand of dump box. All Dump-Lok products are equipped with high grade, high tensile steel safety chains to further ensure safe repairs. Dump-Lok can safely hold dump beds at higher angles than manufacturer- provided props, giving employees safeaccess to a wider area underneath the dump bed. Dump-Lok model # DL105 steel braces fit up to a 4.5 inch flange - the standard dump truck flange is 3.5 inches.Dump-Lok is designed with easy to grip handles, making each steel brace easy to carry and easy to install between the truck frame and dump box. Dump-Lok model # DL106 steel braces fit up to a 5.5 inch flange. Both Dump-Lok models may be fitted with the optional Flat Tops for use with offset frame beds and trailers. With wheels chocked and empty dumpbed raised to the appropriate height, setdriver side (left) DUMP-LOK on truck frame,pushing firmly so the top and bottom platesare making full contact with both frames.2. Place safety chain around truck frame orframe cross member. Slide chain throughkey slot hole. Tighten and lock chain in thesmall end of the slot. Repeat procedure forpassenger side.3.
