In this event contact FiatDealership to have the system checked.5

Press the SPORT button again to deactivate this function and resume the normal driving mode.IMPORTANT This function turns onabout 5 seconds after pressing the SPORTbutton.IMPORTANT With the SPORT functionon, when accelerating you may feel thetypical pick-up jerks of sports driving setting.6To engage the 6th gear, operate the gearlever pressing it rightwards to prevent engaging the 4th gear by mistake. Do thesame for shifting from 6th to 5th gear.IMPORTANT The car can only be put into reverse gear when it has stopped moving completely. With the engine running, before engaging the reverse, wait at least2 seconds with the clutch pedal fully downto prevent damage and grating of thegears. To engage reverse R from neutral, lift thesliding ring A under the knob and shift thelever to the right and back.fig. 8F0G0646mWARNINGTo change gears properlyyou must push the clutchpedal fully down. It is therefore essential that there is nothing under thepedals: make sure the mats are lyingflat and do not get in the way of thepedals.Do not drive with your handresting on the gear lever asthe force exerted, even ifslight, could lead over time topremature wear on the gearbox internal components.

Contact Fiat Dealership to have the oiland filter changed, as they areequipped to dispose of the waste oiland filters respecting the nature andthe law.

603.83.473 Panda 100 HP GB5-07-200715:17Pagina 13The engine cooling system uses protective antifreeze fluidPARAFLU UP. Use the samefluid type as that already inthe cooling system when topping up.PARAFLU UP fluid cannot be mixedwith any other type of fluid. Should ithappen, under no circumstances startthe engine; contact a Fiat Dealership.fig. 13WARNINGThe cooling system is pressurised. If necessary, replacethe cap only with another genuineone, otherwise system efficiencycould be compromised. Do not remove the reservoir cap when the engine is hot: you risk scalding yourself.F0G0107mENGINE COOLANT fig. 13FIAT PANDA 100HPThe coolant level shall be checked withcold engine and shall be within the MINand MAX marks on the tank.If the level is low, pour slowly a mixtureof 50% distilled water and 50%PARAFLU UP of the FL SeleniaGroup through the filler neck A until thelevel reaches MAX.A 50-50 mixture of PARAFLU UP anddistilled water gives freeze protection to–35 C.13
