Battery Chargers - Phase Three ModularBattery ChargersGo toWebpage!A Battery Charging System with Redundant, Easily ReplacedCharge Modules Providing High Reliability and ServiceabilityThe Phase Three Modular (PTM) ConceptThe PTM charger provides a significantimprovement in system reliability by utilizingmultiple independent charger modules that pluginto the unit, and should a fault occur in onemodule, the system continues to operate, thus isconsidered “fault tolerant”.The system consists of a wall mount case whichserves as connection point to AC input andbattery output, (3 bank) and contains threefront-facing power bays, each accommodatinga 22.5 amp charger module which slides andlocks in place creating a 24V, 67 amp charger. If a module fault occurs, a front panel indicatorand alarm relay is activated and the systemcontinues operating on the other modules. Afourth bay houses the “smart” controller” circuitthat provides 3 step charging, temperaturecompensation, system status LED’s, alarmcontacts and indicators. Should the controllersuffer a fault, the charger will still operate atfull power at float voltage mode. The controllermodule is also configured for easy plug inreplacement in the field.Vessel operators appreciate this system approachto reliability and serviceability whereby a faultin one of the modules is easily identified andit can be quickly replaced with an on-handspare or an exchange unit from the factory, allthe while the charging system and the vesselcontinue to operate.TYPE APPROVED PRODUCTReliabilityFeatures Redundant, independent 22.5 amp chargermodules increase reliability – a malfunctionof one does not disable the charging system;remaining modules continue to operate. Three stage “smart” charging; bulk, absorption, float Battery type selector switch; gel-cell,lead-acid, AGM Temperature compensated output via sensorServiceability Module change-out takes only minutes viaplug and play configuration while the systemcontinues to operate Technical personnel not required No need to remove the charger case fromthe boat or disconnect any wiring 24 Volt; 22-67 amps “Universal” input of 90-264 VAC, 50-60 Hz.–canbe used anywhere in the world Powder coated stainless steel case ABS approved as redundant power system foressential services as well as a battery charger No inconvenience of power interruptionto the boatDC Power Onboard8

Go toWebpage!Inverter-Chargers - Torque SeriesHigh Power DC-AC Inverters with Built-in Battery Chargers.New!The “Torque” Series (TQ) incorporates all the ruggedness and reliability of the perfectwave series but with upgraded electronics that provide higher peak power, efficiency, protection anda high power density resulting in a reduction in case size. Diagnostic monitor panel with power limitprogramming is built-in with an optional full function LCD text display.Six models for use with 12 and 24 volt battery systems provide continuous rated AC power rangingfrom 1000 to 3600 watts at 115 VAC-60 Hz., and battery charging 60 - 150 amps.TQ inverter-chargers deliver high surge capability for starting motor loads and pure, sinusoidal AC forflawless operation of all appliances and sensitive electronics. They are ideal for entertainment systemsand micro-processor-based equipment such as computers which are intolerant to AC wave distortion.Whenever shore or generator AC power is available, a built-in automatic transfer which activates themulti-stage battery charger for rapid and safe replenishment of the inverter battery bank.Inverter - ChargersProtection features includethermally controlled cooling fans, low voltage cutout, thermal andoverload protection and groundfault interruption, built in ruggedpowder coated aluminum casesuitable for permanent horizontalor bulkhead mounting. A frontpanel LED display provides basicdiagnostics and voltage data.It can also be removed andinstalled as a remote. Anoptional LCD remote indicatorand control panel is availablefor all models.Features Rugged hostile environment-proven circuitrygenerates AC for powering any appliance, from wattage-hungry refrigeration to highlyinput-sensitive computers, electroniccontrollers/processors. Designed for maximum ease of installation andoperation - installer and user-friendly. LargeDC input terminal blocks and front panel GFCIprotected outlet receptacle. AC output fromthe inverter may also be hard-wired. Built-in high output charger for rapid batterybank replenishment — feature three stage, temperature compensated charger withoutput programmable for gel-cell, floodedlead-acid or AGM battery type, and amp-hourcapacity selector for proper charging in variousapplications. Will charge batteries that havebeen discharged to zero volt

needs ac input. 1.1.1 Multi-stage Inverters and Single-stage Inverters Inverters can be basically classified into two sorts, which are multi-stage inverters and single-stage inverters. Some merits and demerits of different inverter strategies have been discussed in [1][2]. Multi-stage inverters commonly use dc/dc dc/ac topology, as presented in

SOLAR BATTERY CHARGERS FOR NIMH BATTERIES 1 Abstract - This paper proposes new solar battery chargers for NiMH batteries. Used with portable solar . panels embedded in fabric that can be folded to dimensions of less than 12" x 12" , yet are able to produce up to 50 Watts of power [1] at 12V. These new products make solar power

electric vehicles (EV), California is striving to deploy 250,000 public and shared private electric vehicle chargers by 2025 and forecasts the need for 1.2 million chargers by 2030 for light-duty vehicles and 157,000 chargers for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. The light-duty target includes public chargers that are available at parks, shopping

May 01, 2014 · voltage through a circuit is with a dc-dc converter. There are 5 main types of dc-dc converters. Buck converters can only reduce voltage, boost converters can only increase voltage, and buck-boost, Cúk, and SEPIC converters can increase or decrease the voltage. Some applications of converters only need to buck or b
