I met a lot ofExalted Rulers throughoutthe United States, where Ifound Lodges are goingthrough the same issues wehave here Glastonbury. Bytalking with them, we need todo what is right for theLodge, not personal agendas!Finally, if you think it is hothere, you should have been inHouston during the convention, that was HOT!Don’t forget every Tuesdayaround 5:30PM, Greg Crucitti heads up the hill to run theweekly Stick Bust. This isopen to all members wishingto try their skill with pistols.On the evening of July13th, the Lodge held a specialmeeting for the sole purposeof initiating 16 new membersinto this fine organization. Ifyou’re here, and meet anyonenot familiar, please makethem feel at home!Our Secretary held his 3rdAnnual Steak and Lobsternight! This again was a hugesuccess, and I can’t thankSecretaryDennis G. He will be thankingeveryone later in the Upstart!On Thursday, August 4th at6:00PM we will be preppingfor the Annual Camp Sunrisegraduation at the Lodge. Ifyou’re interested in volunteering for this event, please stopby the Lodge to get thingsready for Friday. On Fridaywe will be leaving the Lodgeat 4:30PM to go to the community center to be servingfor 6PM. Any and all are welcomed to volunteer.The previously announcedSteak and Cheese dinner forAugust 4th is being postponedto a later date. We will sendout an email blast with thenew date and time. Additionally, the Food Truck scheduled for August 12th has alsobeen cancelled.The Lodge members will beparticipating in their first (ofmany we hope!) softball gameagainst the Rotary on August15th. If you’re interested inplaying, there will be a practice on August 11th at6:00PM.On August 27th, Mike Dondiwill be hosting his annual PigRoast at the Pavilion.
