Please read this parent handbookcarefully. You are responsible for abidingby the information in it and the feeagreement you sign.This is intended to be an addendum to theImagine Rosefield Student/ParentHandbook for our preschool community.All items in this handbook are in addition tothe rules and expectations set forth in theImagine Rosefield Student/Parent Handbook.

Mission Statement:Imagine Rosefield strives to focus on the whole child by providing a quality educational program for thechildren ages three to five years old. We focus on building strong educational foundations in ourstudents, preparing them for an excellent Kindergarten experience. Imagine Rosefield Preschoolprovides a safe and nurturing environment where children and families feel welcome and comfortable.Program Goal/Statement of Services:Imagine Rosefield Preschool utilizes small and large group activities to facilitate development inlanguage skills, fine and gross motor skills, and cognitive skills in reading as well as math readiness andsocial skills. There is a balance of child-directed activities, included throughout the day. The staffmembers coordinate the day’s activities ensuring that all areas of development are addressed. ImagineRosefield Preschool provides services Monday thru Friday from 9am to 3:30 pm as outlined in ourschool calendar.Parent/Guardian Responsibilities and Code of Conduct:The employees of Imagine Rosefield are happy to help you as parents/guardians with any questions,concerns or suggestions you may have. We realize a parent needs to feel his/her child is receiving thebest possible care and education in a safe environment and has the right to inquire about and observethe campus. Any questions or complaints should be addressed to the Program Director or SchoolPrincipals. They will be happy to address your concerns if time permits, or set up a meeting to furtherreview the situation. However, any persons who engage in disorderly conduct of any kind, such as useof speech/language that is offensive or inappropriate, physical abuse, or threat of harm in any way toany child/employee/volunteer will be subject to removal and possible exclusion from the facility. Alladmissions are accepted at the sole discretion of Imagine Rosefield. Information is sent home everyFriday and it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to review the folders contents for any student andschool updates. Please note that it is the responsibility of the student and parent to ensure that allitems the student came to school with leave with the student. Teachers provide students withreminders throughout the day about being responsible for their items; the teacher/director is glad tohelp look for a lost item, but they are not liable for the item. It is the responsibility of the parents tokeep enrollment records current and advise both the front office and the preschool director of anychanges. Parents are also required to pay all fees on time to ensure in interrupted service. 3 & 4 year old Fees: 650.00 per month (Full day 9:00-3:30) 400.00 (Half Day 9:00-12:00)************************YEARLY SUPPLYFEE 65 ********************Hours of Operations Monday thru Friday:Preschool: 9am-3:30pmBefore and After Care: 6:30am-start of school & End of school-6pm

Recess during Extreme Weather:Sometimes extreme weather concerns arise. We continually monitor the weather conditions to ensurestudents are never too cold or too warm. During cold weather please provide your student with a warmjacket, gloves, scares, hats etc., as we cannot guarantee that we will not go outside. We take severalwater breaks and increase the frequency during the warmer summer months. We do not have adrinking fountain in the classroom so please provide your student with a water bottle that can berefilled throughout the day. The students are given a 30-minute recess every day.Rest time:Our Students rest from 12:45 pm to 3:00 pm every day. During rest time, they may quietly read a bookon their mat, relax on their mat or take a nap. Imagine Rosefield will provide a mat for the student but itis the parent’s responsibility to provide a mat sheet and blanket. Pillows are optional. These items mustgo home every Friday and washed prior to the student’s next attendance. A mat sheet must bepurchased at a preschool supply store such as Lakeshore Learning. Arizona Department of HealthServices requires that the mat sheets must be fitted to ensure the mats are lying flat and covered.Students who do not have the state required materials for rest time (mat sheet and blanket)will not be allowed to sign in for the day.Breaks and Holidays:The Imagine Rosefield Preschool will follow the same ten-month calendar as the rest of the school. Theschool will be closed on all school recognized breaks and holidays. R-Club is available on half daysexcept the last day before winter break and the last day of school.Child Sign In and Out Procedures:All children MUST be signed in and out EVERY DAY by a parent /guardian or other authorized adult onthe students sign in/out sheet. Each day must be filled out with the date, time and signature of theadult. THE SIGNATURES MUST BE SIGNED USING FULL FIRST AND LAST NAMES. THE STATE WILL NOTEXCEPT JUST INITIALS OR PARTIAL NAMES. If you fail to sign in/out on a repeated basis, your child maybe terminated from the program. The state audits the sheets to ensure they are filled out correctly. TheBEFORE AND AFTER CARE PRESCHOOL EMPLOYEE will sign the student out when school begins and signthe student in when school ends. The person picking up the student MUST be prepared to showidentification at any time throughout the year due to STATE REQUIREMENTS.Terms of Payments:Payment is due the 1st of the month. Imagine Rosefield Preschool does not except DES.

Visitation and Access:All parents are welcome and encouraged to visit Imagine Rosefield Preschool. All visitors will berequired to sign in and wear a visitor’s badge.Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks:Breakfast and lunch are not included in the tuition but are available for an additional fee. Menus areavailable upon request. Snacks will be provided daily in accordance with recommended nutritional andstate guidelines. Snacks menus are available upon request. If your student has special dietary needs,these needs MUST be provided in writing at the time of enrollment.Transportation:Imagine Rosefield Preschool does not provide transportation.Field Trips:Imagine Rosefield Preschool students do not participate in field trips.Liability Insurance:The Preschool is run by Imagine Rosefield. The Preschool is covered by insurance purchased by theschool.Discipline Guidelines:In our Preschool, each behavioral issue will be dealt with at the teachers discretion based on age, andlearned social behaviors. Consequences will be imposed to the best response to the behavior.Consequences include: time out in the classroom or another classroom, calling home to discuss thebehavior, being sent home and in/out school suspension. If the behavior continues to interfere with thegoals of the preschool program, the student’s enrollment may be terminated.Absences or Illness:Your child MUST be free from vomiting, diarrhea and/or a fever for 24 hours.

Medication/Emergency Policy:School personnel are sometimes asked to administer medication to students during school hours. Schoolpersonnel may administer if the following conditions are met:A) All medication must come in its original container. Prescription medication must have aunaltered pharmaceutical label attached. Over-the-counter medication, dietary supplementsand other non-prescribed medication must be labeled with the student’s name, medicationname, dosage directions and time of day.B) The parent/guardian must complete and sign a Parent’s Consent for Giving Medication at Schoolform. A new form must be completed at the beginning of each new school year and or anytimethe medication or dosage changes.C) All medication must be stored and administered in the Health Office.D) Parents/Guardians will be notified when additional medication is needed or when unused ordiscontinued medication needs to be picked up from school**Students may not carry or self-administer any medication or dietary supplements unless the aideand principal grants permission and signs a formal plan.Discontinuation of Enrollment:A one-week notice of intent to terminate enrollment is required. If a child doesnot attend for one a one-week period and no notification is received from theparent/guardian, enrollment may be considered discontinued. Registration isrequired to re-enroll the child at a later time.
