III. Functions1)Ignition function:Decode Ignition ( ACC ) control signal from CAN data stream to make the head unitstanding by and go into working state, to make consumption of head unit becomeslowest. ( It's on "ON" State after ignition , output: 12V. It's on "OFF" State whenremove the key, output: 0V. )2) Illumination function:Decode ILL control signal from CAN data stream to make the head unit switchingbetween Day & Night mode. ( The output is 12V when the dashboard light turns on ,output is 0v when the dashboard light turn off ).3) Reverse Signal :Decode reverse signal from CAN data stream to make the head unit switching to rearviewing camera input when reverse. ( Output is 12 V when speed in reverse, otherwise is 0V).4) Steering wheel control of car stereo. ( As the following pictures. ):Decode the information of steering wheel control from CAN BUS to controlaftermarket DVD / GPS unit.PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www.pdffactory.com

Technical Characteristics Feeding Power: 12/16 VDC Consumption (Idle): 0.6mA Consumption (Working): 0.25A Positive ignition output Positive light output Negative parking brake output Positive Reverse output Video output type: Composite Rear view camera video input Size: W / D / H : 100X95X25mm Weight: 160gV. Core Components:a) CAN Transceiver :Use TJA1054A from NXP. TJA1054A is the CAN BUStransceiver with fault tolerance function, it's applicable to CAN BUS system and bewidely used in CAN BUS field, it's regard as the standard of fault tolerance CANtransceiver in this industry.b) CPU :Use STM32F103 from ST.STM32F103 use high performance ARMCortex-M3 by 32 bits, built-in High Speed Memory and standard can communicationinterface. CAN interface is compatible with standard 2.0A & 2.0B ( Active ). The bitrate is 1mb/ S, it satisfies all the function of CAN BUS control.PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www.pdffactory.com

Ignite the car and power on the head unit.Step B. Press the original buttons on the car to adjust A/C, as the following picture:It will last 3 seconds after you adjust the A/C, then exit to the previous page automatically.Step C. When you put into reverse gear, the parking sensor system will be activated, thehead unit will switch the screen to rear view camera or parking sensor automatically. Youcould press the volume " " button on the steering wheel to switch the picture on thescreen between rear view camera and parking sensor.PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www.pdffactory.com
