1 General Information1.1 Upgrade capabilityUpgrade from INSITE 8.0.0 or higher.2 New Base Features2.1 ECM Code SearchFollowing an ECM code search, there is an option to view the calibration history ofthat ECM code. Added to this ECM Calibration Revision History window is the optionto export the history information into a comma separated value (csv) file format.2.2 ECM TemplatesTemplates created with INSITE 8.1.0 or later can be modified using the ECMTemplate Editor. Right click on the template and select Edit Template. After theadjustable parameters are modified, the template can be saved as the currenttemplate or saved as a new template. If a value entered is not within the limits, therewill be a pop up showing the limit for that parameter.2.3 Programmable Datalink Device (PDD) DownloadWhen downloading a PDD, the option to right click and select Autodetect to find thehardware part number of the connected device has been added.2.4 Enhanced Simulator ModeThe INSITE simulator mode, which contains all Features, Special Features, andTests, can be accessed without having to activate an INSITE license.2.5 Enable Cummins Inc. Data CollectionThis functionality enables or disables the Cummins Inc. data collection in Tools Options Work Orders. This allows Cummins to collect information for emissionscompliance reporting and for product development.2
2.6 J1939 Datalink MessagesThis functionality provides Source Address, PGN, SPN, and the values of the J1939datalink messages if supported in the calibration.2.7 INSITE for CenseCalibration download can be performed with a valid Basic license with INSITE forCense only.3 New Diagnostic TestsNOTE: These will only be displayed if they are supported by the calibration.3.1 Cylinder Bank Cutout TestThis test can activate cylinder cutout on the selected group of cylinders or deactivateall cylinder cutouts.3.2 Starter Intake Air Heater Override TestThis test is used to validate the Starter Intake Air Heater operation by turning theheater on and off.4 New Advanced ECM DataNOTE: These will only be displayed if they are supported by the calibration.4.1 Aftertreatment SCR System Health MonitorThis feature provides the user with the capability to monitor several different engineparameters in order to manage heat in the engine. This feature also provides thecapability to reset the coke accumulation and hydrocarbon adsorption counters.3
