He did an amazingmiracle, because he’s God and he cando anything!
Goal: Help kids understand God’s story in a language they understand.Why? We want kids to believe that God loves them, and a great way to do that is to helpthem experience stories about how much he loves us!Tip: Have fun acting out parts of the story with kids. Be dramatic and use fun voices to helpdraw them in!ACTIVITY 1 Supplies needed: Blue plastic strip Set out the strip of blue plastic on the floor. Tell kids to pretend that this is water, andwe’re going to pretend to walk across it with Jesus! Let kids take turns walking across the blue “water”, and remind them that Jesus cando anything, even walk on water!ACTIVITY 2 Supplies needed: coloring page and crayons Hand each kid a coloring page. As kids color their page, ask: Did Jesus walk on water? (Yes) Can Jesus do anything? (Yes)

Since Jesus is our rescuer, he can do ANYTHING. He can do amazing things that no oneelse can do! Let’s watch a video and see how he walked on water. Let’s all pretend like we’re in a boat, and there’s astorm. Everyone lean THIS way! Now lean THIS way! (Act out with kids like you’re in astorm.) After that, Jesus did something amazing. He got out of the boat, and he walked on top of thewater! He didn’t sink or fall, because he’s Jesus, and he can do anything! Next, he asked hisfriend Peter to come out on the water too. So Peter got out of the boat, and walked on thewater with Jesus. You see, Jesus can do AMAZING things. And guess what else? He loves us sooooo much! Can Jesus do anything? (Yes!) Can Jesus help us?
