Stuttgart, 23. – 25. March 2021Stand construction guidelines, technical guidelines and importantinformation for EMV 2021The following information together with the General Terms of Contract, included with the application form, and theTechnical Guidelines of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH constitute the contractual basis for participation at EMV 2021. The guidelines for stand layout are binding.Stand structures that do not comply with the following guidelines may have to be modified or removed.Permission for deviations from the guidelines will not be granted.GUIDELINES FOR STAND LAYOUTThe exhibitor is responsible for stand equipment and decoration. Exhibitors are required to decorate their stands in amanner appropriate to the event. Stands which do not conform to an acceptable standard will only be approved by theorganizer once the appropriate changes have been made. This will also be the case for inappropriate advertising.Exhibitors must provide an appropriate floor covering for their stand.1.Stand partitionsThe exhibitor agrees to erect 2.5 m high stand partition walls on all closed sides of the stand space. Exhibitor not usinghis/her own stand partition or rental stand, must order stand partition walls.Where the back wall of a stand extends beyond 2.5 m in height, the wall must be all white, clean, opaque, smooth and freeof installation materials. Advertising must have a distance of 1 m from the neighbouring stand.2.Rental standsRental stands can be ordered (see the rental stand form). Glue, blue-tack, nails and paint must not be used on the rentedexhibition stand or its fittings and it must not be damaged in any way. The renting company will be charged for anydamage done during the rental period.3.MiscellaneousGlue, blue-tack, nails and paint must not be used on any other stand partition walls, floors, hall walls, pillars, installations,fire-fighting equipment or other permanent hall fixtures; nor must they be damaged in any way. The exhibitor is liable fordamage done and will be charged for the costs. Pillars, installations and fire-fighting equipment within the stand are part ofthe allotted stand space and must be accessible at all times. All materials used must be flame-retardant (see also 4.4 Fireprotection and safety regulations at Technical guidelines of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH).4.Stand constructionTwo-storey constructions are not permitted. Stand sides adjoining an aisle must be open. Solid walls must not constitutemore than 50 % of the total length of the open side where the wall adjoins an aisle. March 20216.Stand construction permitsProvided that the Technical Guidelines of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH and Stand Construction Guidelines of MesagoMesse Frankfurt GmbH have been observed in designing and building the exhibition stand, it is not necessary to submitplanning documents for approval as long as a stand area of 30 sqms has not been exceed.Special structures and special constructions require approval and are subject to additional cost. Special constructionsinclude for example:- Walls over 3.5 m in height and stands of more than 30 sqm- mobile stands- stand structures with enclosed roofs- special structures and designsAll approvals are valid for the specific event only.Stand construction permits:Stand plans drawn to a suitable scale complete with dimensions, floor plans and perspectiveviews shall be submitted for approval in digital form at least 8 weeks before the event by Email to technik@messestuttgart.de .After verification by Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH, copies of the stand plans will be returned to the exhibitor/standconstructor with the approval note. Stand construction is only approved once the approval note has been issued.For further information, please refer to item 4.2. of the technical guidelines of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH.7.Modification or removal of stand structures not in accordance with the regulationsStand structures that do not comply with the Technical Regulations or legal requirements may be subject to modification orremoval. If the necessary modifications or the removal are not done by the prescribed date, the organizer is authorized tohave modifications or removal carried out at the expense and risk of the exhibitor.Please forward this information to your stand construction team or to your authorised stand constructor.The guidelines for stand layout are binding. AssemblySundayMonday21 March 202122 March 202107:00 – 24:00 hrs00:00 – 22:00 hrsPlease note: In the time of 17 March 2021, 22:00 hrs to 18 March 2021, 06:00 hrs deliveries to the ICS are not possible.In cases where the assembly of a stand has not begun by 15:00 hrs on Monday 18 March 2021 and no other instructionshave been received, the event organiser will undertake this task. The exhibitor will be charged for this work.2. DismantlingThursdayFriday25 March 202126 March 202116:00 – 22:00 hrs (important: opening of gates starts round 17:00 hrs)07:00 – 22:00 hrsFull or partial dismantling of stands or removal of exhibits before the end of the exhibition is not permitted. Exhibitorscontravening this rule are liable to a penalty of 50% of the stand rent. The exhibition area is to be restored to its originalstate after dismantling the stand. The exhibitor is responsible for any damage caused by incorrect handling.The organizer is entitled to dismantle and store the stand equipment and exhibits at the cost of the exhibitor if the standspace is not cleared by the end of the official dismantling time.Since the aisles in the halls act as escape routes in case of emergency, it is vital that they remain clear of all obstructionsduring the assembly and dismantling periods. Keeping the aisles clear also allows for orderly assembly. Storage in theaisles of stand construction materials, empty containers and exhibits is therefore prohibited.In the event of non-compliance, the organizer reserves the right to have the objects removed at the exhibitor’s cost. Theexhibitor shall also be liable to pay a contract penalty of 200 Euro for non-compliance with this rule without recourse to hisjudicial right of moderation. Empty containers are to be removed without delay.II. Sie sind bindendfür alle Aussteller und Veranstalter. Die Technischen Richtlinien sindVertragsbestandteil der Verträge, die die LMS mit Ihren Ausstellern,Veranstaltern, Servicefirmen und Dienstleister schließt. Diese Aussteller, Veranstalter, Servicefirmen und Dienstleistern stehen dafür ein,dass sich alle ihre Servicepartner, die auf dem Messegelände tätig sindoder sich dort aufhalten, an diese Technischen Richtlinien halten. These Technical Guidelines are mandatory for all exhibitors and organisers. The Guidelinesare an integral part of the contracts LMS concludes with its exhibitors,organisers, service companies and service providers. These exhibitors,organisers, service companies and service providers are responsible forensuring that all of their service partners who are working on the exhibition grounds or are otherwise present there observe these TechnicalGuidelines. LMS can demand compliance with the Technical Regulations from every person who is working on the exhibition grounds orotherwise present there.
