About Brain Tumour Foundation of CanadaFounded in 1982, Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada began after Steve Northey lost hiseight-year-old daughter to a brain tumour. Together with Dr. Rolando Del Maestro, aneurosurgeon and researcher, and Pamela Del Maestro, a neuroscience nurse, the threeworked to form an organization to improve the quality of life for those affected by a braintumour.Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is the only national, not-for-profit organizationdedicated to reaching every Canadian affected by any type of brain tumour (be it malignant,non-malignant and metastases) through support, education, information and research.Every year, thousands of people affected by brain tumours find emotional support andcomfort through Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, while gaining a better understandingand knowledge of their disease.Our mission to reach every person in Canada who is affected by a brain tumourthrough support, education, information and research.Tip:Start early. Cup of HopeThe Cup of Hope is awarded annually to the topBrain Tumour Walk fundraising team in Canada.As a recipient of the Cup of Hope, your team name, city and winning year will be engraved on thetrophy! All members of the winning team will also receive a ribbon to wear proudly at next year’sevent. The winning team will keep the trophy for one year, in their city, to celebrate their incredibleaccomplishment!After the year is over, the “Cup of Hope” will be up for grabs as all Brain Tumour Walk teamsacross Canada compete to hold the winning title of Top Fundraising Walk Team of Canada!We celebrate the hard work and passion of all ourparticipants and teams.Through your incredible fundraising, you put hope into action forour brain tumour community.THANK YOU!

Here's how to send Brain Tumour Foundationof Canada the money you have worked so hard to raise!We request that you send in any offline donations that you'vecollected within 30 days of your event.*Please do not send cash donations.
