About This GuideAbout This GuideBroadSoft UC-One is an open Unified Communications platform that provides a single end-userinterface, full mobility, open APIs and defined market offerings. BroadSoft UC-One is intendedas a single platform designed to meet the requirements of carrier market segments amongmicro-businesses, SMBs and large enterprises.This guide describes how to configure and use IP phone features integrated with BroadSoftUC-One on Yealink IP phones. The BroadSoft UC-One solution effectively leverages multipleBroadSoft products: BroadWorks, BroadTouch and BroadCloud.The BroadCloud features are available on the following Yealink IP phones: SIP-T58V/A and SIP-T56A IP phones running UC-One firmware version 80 or later. SIP-T54S, SIP-T52S, SIP-T48G/S, SIP-T46G/S and SIP-T29G IP phones running UC-Onefirmware version 81 or later.These features require the support from the BroadSoft BroadWorks platform with patches andBroadSoft BroadCloud services. Using the web user interface in an internet browser window from your PC.

OverviewThe hardware components keypad and LCD screen constitute the phone user interface, whichallows the user to execute all call operation tasks and basic configuration changes directly onthe IP phone. In addition, you can use the web user interface to access all configuration settings.In many instances, it is possible to use both the phone user interface and the web user interfaceto operate the IP phone and change settings. However, in some instances, it is only possible touse the phone or the web user interface.Phone User InterfaceYou can customize your IP phone by pressing the Menu soft key or tapping Settings to accessthe phone user interface. The “Advanced” option is only accessible to an administrator and thedefault administrator password is “admin” (case-sensitive).Web User InterfaceIn addition to the phone user interface, you can also customize your IP phone via web userinterface. In order to access the web user interface, you need to know the IP address of your IPphone. To obtain the IP address, press the OK key on the IP phone or tap Settings- Status.Enter the IP address (e.g., http://192.168.0.10 or 192.168.0.10) in the address bar of the webbrowser on your PC. The default administrator user name and password are both admin(case-sensitive).13

Checkwith your system administrator to find out if these features are available on your phone.BroadCloud FeaturesBroadCloud is a set of services hosted and managed by BroadSoft. The following threeBroadCloud features are available on /T46G/T29G IP phones: BroadCloud Buddies: It enables users to share information of buddies with theBroadTouch Business Communicator (BTBC) client application. BroadCloud Favorites: It enables users to mark buddies as favorites with BroadTouchBusiness Communicator (BTBC) client application. BroadCloud Presence: It enables users to share presence information with theBroadTouch Business Communicator (BTBC) client application.You can access BroadCloud Buddies/Favorites on the IP phone, view their presence informationon your phone. When a buddy/favorite is available, you can place a call to him/her directly.When a buddy/favorite is busy or away, you can send IM to him/her on the BroadTouchBusiness Communicator (BTBC) client. When a buddy/favorite is offline, we advise you to sendan email to him/her.The BroadCloud features require the support from the BroadSoft BroadWorks platform withpatches and BroadSoft BroadCloud services.
