But this year, 24 marching bands and 1,000 cheerleaders from schools and colleges across the United States prepare in anticipation to perform through the streets of London. Tuesday, January 3 @ 1PM In 1925, Mrs. Mary Carson Breckinridge led a team of spirited women to Leslie County, Kentucky and established a demonstration of providing unprecedented healthcare to rural Appalachia. Chosen partially for its remoteness, Breckinridge wanted a location so difficult to reach that it would serve as proof that her grassroots model could be duplicated anywhere in the United States. Thursdays @ 5 & 5:30PM Starting January 5 Tim Farmer explores traditional food preparation including gardening tips, canning, processing and smoking meat, where to purchase produce, and more. He visits with folks who have a passion to share and enjoy recipes. Fridays @ 6PM Starting January 6 Hosted by Air Force combat veteran Stacy Pearsall, "After Action" reveals the experiences of 21 diverse veterans from across the country. Colleen and her family take a Caribbean cruise, assisting a sea turtle rescue on the island of Nassau in the Bahamas and bobsledding in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Then, the family goes fly-fishing and meets incredible birds of prey in Ireland’s beautiful Wild Atlantic Way. 9
